Alice's POV:

I woke up early the next morning to finish my chores quickly. I need to diccuss a few things with Kirkland. I know he has a good reason to get the Emerald Dragon but, who was that girl that Liam mentioned?

I walked into the kitchen, where Liam was preparing Kirkland's breakfast.

"Ah, what a lovely face to see so bright in the morning!" Liam said as he pulled a pan of scones out of the oven.

"Good morning! Thank you Liam."I giggled and blushed at Liam's little comment. He seemed pleased by my response and continued to hum as he prepared breakfast. He began to sing. I smiled when I realized my mother use to sing that same song.

"Here, now stop spacing out and go talk to the Captain." Liam said as he handed me a scone and patted my head.

I bit into the warm pastrie. What a delicious flavor. I smiled and nodded a thank you to Liam and he nodded back.

I walked up to Kirkland's door and took a deep breath then knocked. No one answer. "Kirkland?" I knocked again. This time the door creaked open a little bit. I walked straight in and shut the door behind me. Kirkland wasn't at his desk. I noticed a small door behind a curtain and opened it. There he was sleeping soundly in his bed. He looked kinda of cute curled up like that.

I tapped him on the shoulder. He stirred and muttered something. I did it again and this time I understood. He muttered, "Alice...." I replied, "yes Captain?" He didn't respond. He was still asleep. I decided to leave him to his sleeping but, suddenly he said something perfectly clear. "Don't leave me this time...." I was disturbed by this. What does he mean by 'this time'? I've never met this man until just recent. He must of meant someone else named Alice. Maybe an old girlfriend? I turned to leave. A hand grabbed my arm and pulled me down onto the bed. He cuddled me like a little doll. He was warm. I felt his breath on my cheek. I almost forgot what I was suppose to be doing. I tried to move but, failed. He was surprisingly really strong. I tried to toss and turn but, all my attempts brought me nothing but failure. I decided to give up and just wait for Kirkland to wake up.

*Time Skips: LIFE*

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I heard a soft voice but, I couldn't tell what it was saying. I laid my head back down. I felt the nudge again. This time I stirred and began yawning. I rubbed my eyes as my vision became clearer. I gasped as I realized I had fell asleep on Kirkland and here before me was Liam.

He gave me a kind smile and said, "I didn't know you felt this way about the Captain."

I blushed and tried to protest. "I-I d-don't! This man just has crazy muscle strength!"

Liam laughed and patted my head. "I was only joking. I know all about our Captain and his crazy strength. The same thing happened to me too when I first started working for him. "

He winked at me and said, "I know a great little trick! The Captain is very ticklish!"

An evil grin appeared on my face. I began to slip my fingers out from underneath him and bring them around to his stomach. I let them glide across his belly and move up to his under arms. He shook vigorously and woke up in a uproar of laughter. I have never seen him laugh before. I began to laugh with him and so did Liam. Before we knew it we were all laughing together.

Liam's POV:

Alice looked adorable with her cheeks glowing a bright red. She hurried out of the room leaving me and the Captain alone. "Sir, I finished breakfest. Here is your favorite scones and jam with herbal tea." I said. The Captain rubbed his face and yawned rather loudly.
