I had an argument with Nari and decided to get in my car and take a drive. She was my best friend... Emphasis on WAS. She betrayed me after 4 years of friendship, even after we shared out most intimate secrets. Enough about her. I don't need people like that in my life.

It was dark out and the wind was quite icy.

I only wore a (f/c) t-shirt and jeans so naturally I shuddered and goosebumps plastered my bare arms. I considered going back in to grab a jacket, but Nari would still be there and it would have looked stupid going back in after leaving like that.

I just drove in anger toward a road I knew well.

The trees were lined up in darkness surrounding the bumpy ground undernearth the shaking wheels of my reliable car.

I say reliable even though the shock absorbers are busted- meaning that it wasn't a comfortable ride.

My hands firmly clutched the cold, leather steering wheel as I leaned forward and stared at the illuminated view which came from light that blared out the front of my vehicle.

The road was a long one, and hills would be coming soon.

My gas tank was full so I didn't need to worry about petrol. I thought back to our out-bursts and tears started forming in my eyes.

I quickly blinked them away and focused on anything else.

However, as if on cue, it started pouring down, making loud pattering sounds on the roof and the windows.

I turned the windshield wipers on and in the process dropped some CD's on the floor by my feet and the pedals.

I left them there, knowing I could go without them for now.

The water droplets got bigger and bigger making them louder and more deafening.

'Aish I can't take it! Music will help.' I thought.

My hand slithered down and reached uselessly at the fallen discs.

I sighed and shifted back slightly to put my head down too. I managed to fit under the wheel and grab three objects.

BANG.

The car dangerously swerved before I jolted up and slammed the brake down.

The rain was lighter now and the sky got a touch brighter.

I jumped out the door and ran over to what I hit. It couldn't have been a tree, the car wasn't damaged.

'Oh my god...'
