Reader's P.O.V

I was awaken by loud clattering noises and beeping around me. My eyes opened slightly scanning the room. It was the hospital. Wait...the hospital!? 

Flashback:

BANG.

The car dangerously swerved before I jolted up and slammed the brake down. The rain was lighter now and the sky got a touch brighter.

I jumped out the door and ran over to what I hit. It couldn't have been a tree, the car wasn't damaged.

'Oh my god...'

I remember now...I hit someone and put them in my car and drove to the nearest hospital. Well, it looks like I made it to the hospital. I wonder where the person I hit is... Oh my life, are they okay!?

I got up quickly and stumbled groggily to the hospital counter. 

'Aish my butt...these chairs are not great to sleep on..' I thought, wanting to massage it. 

"Hey excuse me? I think I bought in a person today..." I thought about what I just said. 

'Pabo..' I bit my lip as the old woman looked up at me from behind the counter. "Relation?"

"What? You aren't going to ask who i'm talking about and need to know the person's features?"

She sighed and put her hands together. 

"Miss, would you rather I do that?" 

I shook my head sideways, feeling stupid because I didn't even know those things. 

The woman must have seen because she sat up straight. 

"I know who it is because he was the only one brought in tonight. Plus, I saw you." She said.

I replied, "Oh right... well I'm his...cousin" 

What? I couldn't say anything else. They don't let strangers or even friends of the patient in.

"Room 13b to your left"

"Thanks.." I slowly walked down the corridor on the left, passing shut doors and machinery left out.
