Astrid yelped. "Attacking? Who!?" She asked. Ace didn't even hesitate. "The imperial guards. Let's move. Karaglen, grab Lucas!" He shouted. Karaglen picked up Lucas and told Astrid to follow her. They raced through the halls. Ace couldn't go anywhere without smelling blood. Slowly but surely, a tawny colored snout and ears started to appear. As Ace ran, he morphed more and more into a wolf. When his transformation was complete, he pounced on an unsuspecting guard. His neck broke like a twig. Karaglen had gone full beast mode. She looked completely different! Her horns were curled onwards and her once galaxy looking scales now we're black as the void. Her jaw dropped with the blood of her enemies. Astrid had somehow summoned a glowing sword. They managed to kill all the imperial guards, but at the coat of their allies lives. Everyone was dead. Ace yelled to Astrid as he morphed into a human again. "Get on Karaglen." Astrid did as told. Ace climbed on and pulled Lucas on as well. They began to fly to Mortalix mountain, with the clock ticking.
