"I am so, so sorry." Looking up at who i almost knocked over, and backed up. "Who the hell are you?" I asked backing further towards the stairs. Considering on calling for Justin, knowing Ms. P. would be no help.
"Im sorry. The owner of the house let me in. My car broke down a few houses over and she was the only one to let me in. I was going to use the phone, but when i went to ask where it was, she was passed out on the couch. So i went around looking for it." He said smiling.
"What the hell were you doing by the kitchen? The phones in the hallway. Its not that hard to see." I snapped at him.
"Sorry. I thought i heard something and i ran into here hoping to find someone to show me where the phone was and happen to crash into you. Are you alright by the way? Your head crashed into my chest." He bent over and picked up my dropped cola. "Here you dropped this." He looked at my filled arms. "It looks like you eat a lot. So much for one person. I wonder where it goes?"
"I have a friend over. And i should be getting back to them now. The phones in that hallway." I pointed with my elbow the right. "Use it and leave. We're not very keen to visitors."
Taking my cola back. I went up the stairs. Not looking back to see if he went to the phone. At the top i heard the guy, talking.
Slipping into my room, keeping the door cracked just in case i heard anything down stairs. I snuck up on Justin and put his cold pop on his neck. He jumped slightly, then relaxed again.
"I really am sorry that i got you mad. I brought piece offerings." I said with a smile, holding up the treats i grabbed from downstairs. I slid next to him between the bed post and his chest.
He looked at me and smiled taking my cola. "Thanks. I'll take this nice cola here. Oh, and those crackers look good too." He said as he reached for my crackers.
"Nope those are mine. The peace offering is the orange pop and those Doritos. Thats what you always want." I said pulling my crackers away from his still reaching fingers. And reached for my cola.
"But this time i want cola and crackers. I wont give peace until i have them." He said stubbornly. "I want them and you will give them to me." He pushed my arm away and rolled on top of me.
"I will have those crackers!" He bellowed loudly. Laughing i hid them under the pillow and shrugged. "Where'd they go?" He asked appalled.
"I have no idea. Maybe they're already in my tummy." I joked. Laughing i tried to get out from under him but his weight was on my stomach and i didn't really care.
"No way!" He said lifting my arms over my head, moving me side to side trying to find the pack of crackers. "Hand them over!" He said laughing.
"I already ate them! You couldn't find them even if i told you where they were." Catching him behind the knee i flipped over on top of him. Switching our position.
"I am on top now and theres no way you can change that! You're so not getting them." Laughing i picked up the dropped cola and tapped the top. "And I'm taking this." When i let got o pop the top open it slipped from my hand and handed on his chest, rolled and was between his head and his shoulder.
"Ow, really? You can have it. Its painful." He said laughing. "You might want to get it. Your pinning m arms down."
Looking down i noticed that they were pinned between his legs and mine.
"Oh okey." Leaning forward to take up the can, something hit my wall. Whipping around to the door, i looked to see what it was.
"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt anything. Im done using the phone." It was the guy from the kitchen. Justin shifted under me taking his arms and leaning up on them.
"Who the hell are you? And don't you know how to knock?" Justin said. I shifted and was about to get off of him, when he grabbed me by my hips. He looked up at me.
"Do you know who this guy is Britt? He's hell'a creep if you ask me."
"Justin!" I said as i slapped his chest. Grabbing my pop, i got up off of Justin and sat beside him.
"So what do you want? You used the phone right? Why are you Still here?" I asked. Justin sat up and out his arm around my back, scooting closer to me.
"Well i was leaving but i heard something hit the floor and i thought you ran into something again." He said, with what i think was a smirk. Making Justin hold onto me closer to his side.
"You know, sense you bumped into me, i assumed you were clumsy and probably fell or something." He continued.
Looking around he found something and walked into my room. Picking up the long forgotten jelly and tossed it on the bed next to Justin.
"I guess you did bump into something, not so pleasant, i see. Crashing into me was better, right?"
"Hey, man. Back off. You should leave, we were doing something." Justin said standing in front of me.
"Who are you to tell me to leave? What are you, her brother? The man of the house?"
"Thats enough. You should leave. You said you were done with the pho-"
"Stay out of it Britt. People need to learn their lesson and listen to people." Then he turned to talk to the guy who was now standing closer. "Im not her brother. Im her boyfriend. And i asked you to leave. Now go before i call the cops." I looked at him skeptically. Boyfriend? when did he become my boyfriend?
"Fine, fine. Ill go. But it looks like the lady is confused. You might want to clear that up. Bye y'all. Ill show myself out." He smiled, waved, and turned walking out of the door.
