chapter 6

"Jack can we afford this trip?"

"Yes I made enough money to pay for it. And don't worry about my health. I got a clean bill of health from my doctor. "Jack are you sure?"

"Rose don't worry we have more than enough to stay in a hotel and too do all of the stuff we promised on the ship. only one thing um I don't want to chew the tobacco."

"Sounds good to me." Rose said looking all around

"Want to ride the roller coaster?" Jack asked

Rose nodded

Jack and Rose rode the roller coaster

After a few hours at the board walk Jack and Rose were in the hotel room

"Jack did you tell your family about us in the car?"

"Yeah. I told my dad you were my first. I think I told my siblings that too. don't worry Rose they don't hold it against you. They are happy for us. Now that we are married my mom is even happier she is going to have all the babies. Rose would you want to continue living at my family home or would you like to move out?"

"Jack I don't even know how to cook I'm so embarrassed. that's not something girls in my situation are taught. we have servant to take care of my every need. I'm not use to doing things for myself."

"Rose I love you and in time you will learn. My mom and sister will be happy to teach you. I will teach you how to cook an omelette and bacon."

"I feel worthless to you a women should know how to cook her husband's favorite foods."

"You will learn. Rose i love you for who you are not your ability to cook. Do you want a girl or a boy?"

"I don't care as long as they are healthy. Let's enjoy this trip."

Rose smiled and nodded she loved Jack he was her true and only love

Jack and Rose enjoyed their trip. it was only three days but it was a nice three day trip Jack had to go back to work. He was looking forward to starting a new job.

The months had passed Jack and Rose were getting used to being together and were excited about the birth of their child in January

"Do you think Jack will like this?" Rose asked holding up a pair of mittens she had knitted she had learned to sew and knit and cook she was becoming quite the house wife. she had bought Jack some art supplies and was knitting him mittens a scarf and a hat.

"Oh Rose those are really nice. Jack will love them he loves everything you do." Julia told her

"Can you believe Christmas is in four days?" Missy said walking down the stairs all four women often said they felt like a beached whale.

All the men in the house wanted boys to carry on the Dawson name.

"Oh" Rose said grabbing her stomach

"Mom, Dad Missy is in labor!" Brandon yelled

"Rose is in Labor!" Julia replied grabbing her own stomach

"I think three of my grandchildren are coming today." Anna said as John ran for some doctors thankful he had the car. He had to pick up Jack and Noah.

Brandon, Noah and Jack paced back and forth along with Philip Lilly had gone into labor on the way home from them picking up some gifts and groceries. Ana was so exited

the men froze as they heard four babies crying.

the men ran up the steps to their wives rooms

"Jack we have a son." Rose said

"I have a boy!" Jack yelled as did Noah and Brandon

"I have a daughter!" Philip yelled

Jack took his new son he kissed Rose and replied, "Welcome to the world Joshua John Dawson."

Rose and Jack smiled as they watched their son his blue eyes matched his father's yet his red hair matched his mothers.

later on that night Jack, Noah, Brandon and Philip sat in the living room holding their children," Jack did you ever think we would be fathers?" Noah asked

"No Looking at Josh I can't believe I created him i had a part in making him and he grew inside of Rose and he came out so perfect looking."

"Jedidiah John Dawson meet your cousins Joshua John, Samuel John, and Katelyn Ana." Noah said as the babies all looked at each other

"Katie will have a tough time dating with her cousins they will want to beat off every guy that comes around. "Philip joked as the men nodded.

"I already have the best Christmas gift." Brandon replied as he looked at the tree and then his son.

Jack bid good night to his brothers and Philip he went into his room he was a bout to put Josh in the little crib his father had made. when his father rebuilt he built a loft in all of the bedrooms so it could accommodate future children. it had a door and a room that could be closed off if needed.

"Rose he is so tiny."

"Hes going to be like his father."

"I hope hes like you too."

Jack and Rose sat staring at their new son he was a part of both of them. Rose smiled she wished her mother could meet Josh.

She hoped someday her mother would come back into her life. She went to bed dreaming of a bright future with Josh in it.
