🌸Alice's POV🌸
"I hate everyone!" I yell as I walk down the hallway with my best friend, Dinah on our way to lunch.

"Alice, for God's sake. Shut up! He broke up with you last week! Not today!" Dinah groans.

Last week, my amazingly disgusting boyfriend, um, ex-boyfriend, broke up with me. The asshole's name is Jason. And when I say he broke up with me, I actually caught him making out with a cheerleader. He proceeded to call me names I don't want to repeat, before dumping me in front of his little slut.

Anyways, I haven't gotten over him and Dinah hates me for holding on to our pathetic little relationship. She doesn't know how many times he hit me. She doesn't know he hit me at all.

That doesn't matter now, I guess.

As we head into the lunchroom, I notice Jason staring at me with the cheerleader sitting on his lap. Here's where I'm supposed to say I avoided eye contact, but I didn't. As my eyes fill to the brim with tears threatening to spill over, I run out of the lunchroom as Dinah yells after me. Just as everything seems to be in the clear for me, I trip over a rock and fall into a medium-sized hole.

It was a rabbit hole. At least, I thought it was. Jars filled the whole diameter of the hole. When I grabbed one, marked "SEASHELLS", it was filled with little tiny shells I've never seen before. I used to live on the beach in Florida. Right next to a shell museum, actually. They were so peculiar.

This went on for hours. I'm not dumb, so I tried yelling for Dinah, I braced myself for the impact of the fall, and nothing came. That is, until I saw the shadow of a man what looked like the bottom of the hole.

Cue the screaming...

The shadow soon turned into an actual man, and he looked up into the hole.

"Oh my fucking God! Help me! I'm falling!" I know I know. This is pathetic. Don't judge me! You try falling down a magical hole!

As I came closer to the man, he held his arms out for me to fall into. I finally fell into his arms and looked at him before I started seeing stars. He. Was. Gorgeous. I mean, I think I fell down into heaven cause that guy is the most perfect guy I've ever seen in my life.

I blacked out. Before the darkness took me, the beautiful man said something.

"Did you just fall for me?"
