I'm so proud of you Harry!" I said hugging him after he had just finished telling us what happened with professor Mcgonagall. Harry has been made the new Gryffindor seeker. "Seeker but first years never make the team, you must be the youngest seeker... Harry then finished his sentence. "In the century, according to Mcgonagall." Just then Ron's brothers came up behind us. "Hey well done Harry Wood just told us, oh and by the way Nemissia remind us never to get on your bad side" I heard Fred say then George bummed into me. "Yeah we heard all about the scare that you gave Draco Malfoy, good job." He said shaking my shoulder "Fred and George are on the team too, beaters."
"Our job is to you don't get bloodied up rough game Quittish."
"Brutal, but no one's died in years, some do vanish occasionally, but they'll turn up in a month or two!" They said teasing Harry before turning the corner. We then walked outside of the halls. "Oh go on Harry Quittish is great best game there is and you'll be great too." Hermione then joined our group. "But I've never even played Quittish what if I make a fool of myself?"
"You won't make a fool of yourself it's in your blood." We all looked at her questionably and she lead us to the trophy room. In there we found a trophy that had Harry's dad's name on it. "Whoa Harry you didn't tell me your father was a seeker too." "I didn't know." Later on we were walking to the common rooms for the night. "I'm telling you it's spooky she knows more about you than you do."
"Who doesn't?" Suddenly the staircase moved us to a different room on the other side. We ran into the room and walked into a dark room with cobwebs and statues. "Does anyone else feel like we shouldn't be here?"
"We're not supposed to be here this is the third floor it's forbidden." I then heard a meow behind me and saw Mrs Norris. "It's Fliches cat."
"Run." We followed Ron to a room but the door was locked. He kept messing with the lock but it wouldn't work. "That's it we're done for."
"Oh move over, alohormora." The door opened and we walked in closing the door behind us. Me and Harry then turned around and faced a big three headed dog. "Uhh guys." I said tapping Hermione and Ron as they were arguing. "The door was locked and for a good reason." Harry said as Hermione and Ron turned around. The dog stood up and barked at us trying to eat us. We screamed then ran out the door. I ran the rest of the way with them to front door of the Gryffindor common room and tried to catch my breath. "What do they think they're doing keeping a thing like that locked up in a school." Ron exclaimed. "You don't use your eyes do you didn't you see what it was standing on?"
"I wasn't looking at its feet, I was a bit preoccupied by looking at its heads or maybe you didn't notice there were three."
"They have that dog there for a reason it's guarding something." We all then thought over what she said. "Guarding something?" "That's right now I'm going to bed before the three of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed or worse expelled." Hermione then said the password and walked in. "She needs to sort out her priorities." I nodded in agreement with Ron then said goodnight and left to the Slytherin common room. I went to the fireplace and started practicing my powers while thinking about my father. What was he like? would he love me if we met? Would I ever get to meet him? All these questions played through my head over and over again as I drifted off to sleep on the couch.
