Riley's POV

Once we got to James' house, we both sat down on his couch and watched a bit of TV until his sister came into the room.

"JAMES!! Finally your home! I'm starving! Make me spaghetti pwease?" His little sister said. She's 8 and so adorable! She ran up to James' legs and tried to pull them.

"Ok ok fine! Now go back to your room, there's a unicorn waiting for you!!"

"YAAAAY!!" She squealed and ran upstairs.

"Aww your little sister is adorable!" I giggled.

"I know I know, I'll be right back, I gotta go make that spaghetti she wanted" he started to walk to the kitchen until I stopped him.

"Wait! Can I help?" I gave him the puppy dog eyes. I know he really hates it when I do that, but he falls for it every time!

He stared at me forever until he finally said I could help. We went into the kitchen and James started cooking the spaghetti. I took forever trying to open the tomato sauce can.

"James can you help me open this?" I said while struggling.

"Sure" he opened the can for me but as he turned around to give it to me, he accidentally dumped the sauce all over my clothes!!

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" His eyes widened.

I stood there mad for a second until I calmed down immediately.

"You know what, it's ok. It was just an accident, right?" I faded my voice and slowly started walking over to the bowl of spaghetti. I quickly grabbed a handful of spaghetti and threw it at James right when he turned around to face me.

I started laughing so hard, my cheeks turned bright pink.

"You did not just do that"

"Oh, but I did!" I laughed.

"Very funny, huh? Well it would also be funny if I did....." He ran over to the other bowl of spaghetti and threw a handful at me!

"THIS!" He laughed.

"Oh you are so gonna pay!" The next thing I know, where throwing food at each other and laughing. Our clothes are getting so dirty, but it's just so much fun for some reason. Once I stopped throwing spaghetti at him, he kept on throwing at me non stop.

"James stop!" My face got serious.

"Sorry Ri I didn't mean to..." His eyes widened.

"You are too easy!!" I said while throwing a bunch of spaghetti on him and laughing. I started slipping on the tomato sauce on the floor, but I wrapped my arms around James' neck so I wouldn't fall. We kept on laughing and the next thing I know me and James were hugging and laughing in the kitchen.

"We better clean this up" I whispered in his ear.

"Yeah" he looked around. We pulled away and started cleaning up the spaghetti and mopping up the sauce off of the floor.

"I wonder what your sister will say" I giggled.

"She's gonna be so mad. I better make her more later" he smiled.
