Away From The Man I Love ( Marine story )

It was the start of my sophomore year in high school. it's was going to be fun crazy. I had great friends. Was joining NJROTC it was going to be fine and a new experience. I was ready to try something new. Well my name's Mia Carter I'm 16 turning 17 in May. I love military is kind a my life my dad was in the army.But my parents got a divorce when I was 6. My mom remarried to a marine who's my step daddy. who I love so much. so I'm a so called military brat.

First day of sophomore year

I walked in to school looked around. starting to panic because I can't see any of my friends. then I hear " Mia Carter" I look over to see gabby Richards running my way and embrace me in a hug. she screams in my ear " Man I'm I excited for this year " we go grab are schedules from the cafeteria area. I look and my classes

1st period

Class : rotc teacher : Chase case

2ed period

Class : Math lab teacher : Connie park

3erd period

Class : Art teacher : Xavier Matheson

4th period

Class : language art teacher : Jackson reads

After reading my schedule a "sigh" escapes my lips. Me and gabby don't have Rotc together now I am a complete " Loner " she the one who talked me in to joining darn I cursed under my breath. The bell just rang "ding ding ding" signaling to go to class. Time to go to first rotc. let see how it goes.

I walk in to class. See tons of different military flags one that stands out the most is the marines flag. " one day I'll be a marine " I say to my self. bang is all I hear when I realized I ran into someone. I look up and see the most beautiful amazing looking boy he's wearing nice slim black pants with a sweater that says navy on it. he has amazing eyes there Brown which goes amazing with his perfect skin. ummm ummm hello are you staring at me? he says. Snapping out of my dase. umm what? I say out loud. he repeats him self your staring at me. I realized I am and a deep blush comes on my face. I meet his eyes I say no I wasn't staring at you I was really deep in thought. Sorry to bump in to you. I look away and start heading to find an empty seat. I took a seat the final bell rang signaling class has started. Everyone now in there seats. Senior chief case is my name. that's how you address me.

let's call roll Sarah Marshall here? present senior chief Mia Carter " present senior chief " I say after he was done calling everyone he call the amazing hot hot hot guy to the front. Well kidos this is Seth Wellington he the xo of rotc so if you need help ask him okay. senior chief look at me and said " mia I know Your daddy personally will you help Seth out with teaching the cadets things because I know you know them. I look at him and say yes senior. I dident know he knew my daddy hmm cool. " Okay let's get to know everyone's name " Seth said he points too Sarah. Your name is miss? Sarah Marshall sir looking as if she was going to faint. I would too if I could. he looks too me. "please give us information about your self "Seth says. I nod in response. Well my name is Mia Carter my step daddy is Larry Johnson he was a marine. My real father name is Antony Carter he's in the army. There both high ranking. everyone looks shocked to hear I had to dad's from the military. and I wanna become a vet or a marine. Seth look even more shocked and I'm 16 turning 17.

Seth's P.O.V

I walk into the rotc room just another year in rotc I think to my self. I put my stuff in my cabinet and walk to the front. when I'm hit by this girl. I look down to see a brown eyed girl with dark brown long hair. she stunning and just just plain out beautiful she had on white shirt with a peach scarf and light blue jeans no make up and just her nerdy classes. I seen she was staring at me umm umm hello are you staring at me ? umm no she replys she blushes then walks away. I thought to me self she just so darn cute. I'd really like to get to know her more.

but then I see her names "mia Carter" isn't that the girl senior was telling me about? the military brat?!? damn why does she have to be so dang cute? hmmm well I guess ill try my best to be professional..

As shes explaining her self. I'm more and more interested. she sad she has to dads in the military. Well That's interesting. when she said she wanted to be a marine my mind just went wow. that's tough but she to kind and gental to be one I can see that. she a kind person. she's making it hard for me not to flirt with her or even ask her out. .

Mias P.O.V

Why does he look like he's thinking to hard? haha I'm not sure. after I finish talking about my self. I look at seth will you explain your self they need to know there teachers. he look and me "says yes I will mia." Well my names seth Wellington and my mothers in the navy my dads a marine. I'm 18 I'm a senior. Ive just signed my contract for the marines. the that's girl Sarah raises her hand " are you single? " seth look at her and says yes I am. I'm so deep om thought that maybe I have a chance with this beautiful man! but I'm so jealous that the sarah chick has eyes for seth! then I realize someones calling for me. oh its seth hes saying something "mia this guy has a questiom for you. " he says this good looking guys say something but I wasn't listening to it enough. I ask him to repeat his self then he asked "since she ask that guy if he was single then I should just ask if a beautiful girl like your self if you are" as he says winking at me flirtatious.

Seths P.O.V

Who the h*ll does this guy think he is?!?!

flirting with mia! it made my blood boil with anger and something I'm not used to jealousy I think.. that loser has no damn chance with her! hell I don't think I do.. I look st her as she blushes and say matter a fact I am single. that p*sses me off to the core. why am I so possessive over her I just met her.. but I can't help it she's beautiful and kind and gorgeous!

sorry eveyone who reading I've been so busy and just had to spend as much time with my boyfriend since he joined the marines it hard to see him. and have had are hard time with my grand mothers death..

Mia P.O.V

Why is Seth looking so angry? Hmmm I should ask him later

but that one guys is pretty cute! but Seth he every thing I've ever wanted in a man. senior chief came and interrupted my thoughts. Well that's it with the introduction. Mia and Seth start teaching. so me and Seth started teaching. Seth ask me to take a group of cadets so I did. he wanted me to teach them how to to face move ments.

Okay cadets this is a left face move you one the ball of you right foot and the pad of you left. and you just reverse the feet with others. and a about face you just put your right foot backwards then crops your feet then move to the back of you. good job guys you got it.

Let's go back and show senior. Everyone said yes senior chief which was the rank I have in the rotc program. I'm one rank lower than Seth.
