The Room

Chapter 1

"Mila? Mila? Mila!"

I rub my eyes and gently open it

"What is it mom?"

I heard her sigh

"We're here darling wake up now"

I heard dad's voice and a door open and close

I open my eyes and stretched inside the car I looked at the window the house were big and a unique one I looked at the other side a little girl was standing there and gave me a smiled before running

I grab my phone and purse then get out of the car the neighbor was peaceful not like our old one

"Your new school will be 5 blocks away from us"

I looked at dad

"What? I'll transfer to another school?"

He nod and smiled

"No dad!"

"Mila stop it please just say yes okay? Don't give me head aches"

I rolled my eyes

"Fine!"

"C'mmon let's get inside"

Dad put his arms around me and walk me inside the inside of the house was pretty but creepy

"This is great! I'll just go upstairs and check the rooms"

Mom said and walk upstairs

"Did you love it?"

I looked at my dad I just shrug my shoulders as an answer

"C'mmon its dark you two take a bath"

Mom said and I did

My room was a bit darker but I love it

Its midnight and I still can't sleep

"I need a glass of milk"

I said to myself and get out of the bed

I open the lights in the kitchen I walk to the fridge and get some milk

I was drinking suddenly I heard a knock I looked at the front door no one was there I turn my back and

"AHHH!"

My chest is panting

"Why did you scare me nanny?"

Still holding my chest

"Sorry dear I didn't mean to scare you"

She smiled

"Are you done drinking?"

I looked at my glass its empty

"Yes..."

I gave her my glass I was about to go upstairs when I heard her say

"They're still awake at this hour"

I go downstairs again but she wasn't there anymore

So I run hurriedly and cover my body with blanket

I have to sleep!!!!
