The Beast Within Me

Chapter 2

Dan's P.O.V.

Oh god, she had askes the question I had been avoiding. Our parents had gone on vacation for a month. So I'm gonna have to deal with Skylar's beast. Yes, her beast. Tomarrow, when her birthday comes, she'll turn. At first she won't be able to control it, so she'll need some practice. It's a curse and our parents DON'T wanna deal with it. So they expect me, some one who's only a bit older than her, to handle the situation.

Honestly, I've never thought of Skylar as my sister, no, I think of her as more. I love Skylar, always have. So I try to split up our parents so she can love me too. I made a promise with myself that is always protect Skylar, be there for her, and care for her. "How could they, how could they leave me when it's almost my birthday?!" said Skylar. Oh no, she's gonna cry! I hate it when she cries, it pains me to see her upset. Tears started streaming from her eyes. I quickly stopped cooking, ran over to Skylar, and embraced her from behind. " It's okay Skylar, don't cry, tomarrow's you're birthday, Saturday. We can celebrate it together!" I said, trying to calm get down. I almost kissed her head, but I managed to control myself.

I let go and wiped her tears. "So, what do you want for your birthday?" I asked, trying to get off of the subject. "N-nothing," Skylar replied weakly. I sighed. "How about I take you out to a movie then?" I asked reassuringly. "Oh, um, okay." Skylar said a bit surprised, but cheerfully. That night, I made pasta and sent her off to bed.

Author's note: I'm tired and didn't want to post all of the chapter. This is only half. So I'm gonna tell you a bit of a spoiler...Dan it's also this"beast" except he was born that way. And his birth mother was one too. Since he has actually accidentally clawed her in beast form, she has caught the curse.
