"...the fairy king gave his powers for this, so now he's just a human. But if you want this 'curse' to last for a year, you need to sacrifice a fairy every year." Liesl continued." So you were planning on sacrificing us?" Emily asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah, I was going to sacrifice the two only daughters of the fairy king even if you two could make them be stuck their forever." She said sarcastically. "Wait, we're the daughters of the fairy king, so we're royalty." Emily said smirking.

"Actually you are. But we still need to know why Christopher can see me." The fairy said. Suddenly we heard someone come in, we all looked shocked at his mom who was bringing the cookies. But the silence was interrupted by screaming from the mom and the fairy. "Liesl!" Christopher's mom started. "Nicky!" Liesl screamed. "Omg! You look great, even after 30 years!" Nicky complimented. "Yeah, fairies look even young, as if they're still 18 years. But you look not so bad either!" Liesl answered.

"So how do you know each other?" I asked, so we knew what was going on. "Well, we were best friends in school!" Liesl said excited. "Yeah!" Nicky said. "So she is a fairy too?" Emily asked. "No, their more magical creatures. You know," Liesl started, "there are unicorns, werewolves, mermaids, trolls,... .
Nicky is a hyki." "And what is a Hyki?" I asked. "Don't you know what a Hyki is? That's someone who is half cat, and half human." Liesl answered.

"Yeah, we can be the full cat form, but only a really strong Hyki can change in a full human. All the Hykis who can't change in a full human, hide their tails and ears." Nicky said, while her ears raised from her hair and her tail was swinging from side to side. "Where are Christopher's ears?" Emily asked, while petting his hair. Suddenly we all heard a purring sound coming from Christopher. "I had let a fairy put a spell on him so his ears and tail and cat like manners only will come if he knew that he was Hyki, now the cat manners are coming. So it won't be long and the ears and tail will come." Nicky explained. "So he's a cat?" I asked, grinning widely and fighting the laugh that wanted to come out. "No, he's a Hyki. That's something different." Nicky said with a serious expression.
