Forever To Realize: Hinny

Chapter 1

Tears threatened to fall from my eyes as I walked from the room and into my dormitory. Right as I sat down, I collapsed in tears. Hermione Granger (my best friend) ran over to me and started rubbing my back while I sobbed.
"Ginny, what's wrong? What happened?" She asked.
I held in my tears as I told her hesitantly, "Cho happened. There is something up with that girl, I can just feel it. And... there's one more thing that happened." I started to cry again.
"It's alright. Let it out. But, please explain." Hermione really does know how to help me. The door opened and my other best friend came in.
"Ginny, are you alright? I don't want you sad! When you're sad, I'm sad." Luna Lovegood said in her dreamy voice. I finally calmed down and they started bombarding me with questions. "Who did this to you?" "What happened?" "Are you alright?" "Whoever it was, I'll kill them." That one was Hermione. I giggled a little and calmed myself, and them, down.
"Alright, so, I had a question for Harry about DA and, well, I walked in at the wrong time and-" I started to choke up. "Him and Cho were, kissing." Everything went black and I collapsed.

I woke up to Hermione, Luna, Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, Ron Weasley, Fred Weasley, and George Weasley hovering over me while I was in the hospital bed. (Ron, Fred and George are my brothers, and I am so close with Neville he's like my brother.)
"W-What happened?" I asked very confused.
Hermione looked at me sympathetically and said, "You passed out from crying too much." All I could utter was oh. All my brothers and Neville looked concerned and all asked in unison why I was even crying. Harry was too busy looking deep in thought and looking at the door, intensely. I snuck a glance at Harry and said, "I'll tell you later." They all nodded understandingly. Hermione gave the boys' a look, signaling for them to leave. "They all know about your crush on Harry. Even your brothers." Hermione explained. I blushed, was it that obvious?
"Yes, yes it is." Luna said. I blushed even more, "I said that out loud?" Hermione and Luna nodded. Oops.
"Anyway, Harry's oblivious to this and he was asking all these questions about why you were crying and a bunch more questions regarding you and himself." Hermione said with that look on her face when your friend talks about who you fancy. Ugh.
"Yes, Harry has been quite... obnoxious but caring at the same time. He cares about you, and probably likes you, you know? He's been talking about you nonstop. He's just afraid to admit it." Luna commented. I smiled but it soon faded as I thought of him and Cho kissing again. "But, him and Cho..." They chuckled. "She ratted us out to Professor Umbridge. Not pressured into it. Harry hasn't talked to her since. I'm ninety nine percent sure they're through." I smiled, but sadly as I felt bad for Harry since I knew how much he liked her and not me.
"We decided to keep doing the DA, though. Anyway, Madam Pomfrey said you could leave as soon as you woke up. And you're awake. Come on, you can go tell your brothers what's going on, or do you want me to tell them?" I looked at Hermione pleadingly and, luckily, she understood. She went one way to tell Neville, Fred, George and Ron, while Luna and I went the other to the Great Hall to eat. Harry might be there starring at Cho, but I don't care. I can just steal glances at Draco Malfoy to make Harry jealous. I smiled to myself mischievously as I thought of my plan. Luna saw and asked what I was thinking about, so I told her plan.
"That's either brilliant, or incredibly stupid... I like it." I smiled at her. Luna always cracks me up.
We arrived at the Great Hall and sat down, Luna going to the Ravenclaw table. I sat down next to Padma and Parvati Patil at the Gryffindor table, as that's the house I've been sorted into. Padma and Parvati are twins in the same house as me, and we are very good friends. We are in the same room in the dormitories.
"Are you alright?!" They both exclaimed as I sat down. I smiled at them and explained what happened, quietly, as Harry was only a few seats away from me. When I was finished explaining, they both had rage all over their faces.
"I'll kill him, I will and we all know it." Padma exclaimed almost getting up before I stopped her.
"It's no use. He doesn't know I like him and he doesn't know he did anything wrong. I'm already horrified at what I saw and there's no way I'll forget it." I said sadly.
"Who doesn't know you like him and what are you horrified at?" A voice said from above me. My heart skipped a beat, as I know that voice anywhere. There was a hint of jealousy in his voice that made me smirk a little. I simply answered, 'my crush' with a little 'duh' tone and didn't answer the second question. I heard him sigh in annoyance. "You know what I mean, Gin." Harry said. I winked at Padma and Parvati to let them know I was going to have fun with this jealous Harry. They understood immediately as they started saying words along the lines of, 'I know who it is' and taunting him like that. He basically started begging them to tell him and they wouldn't budge. He finally let go of it and said, "Alright, alright, fine. I'll figure it out myself." He smirked and left. Parvati looked at me and said, "You better watch out, Ginny Weasley." I nodded with a grimace on my face, "I know."
