Seungcheol pov

"Ngh- uhh," I groan, wiping my eyes with the back of my hand. "What time is it?" My question rings out unanswered, quiet, yet seemingly loud in the silence of the dorm. I grab my phone from where it sits plugged into the charger. I pull it out, considering that it's already fully charged.

"1 AM? Ughhhh-" My whining is cut short by a whimper. Not a very loud whimper, but I can still hear it through the silence.

The whimpering continues, but soon turns to slight sobbing. "N-no. No! Stop, please!" He shouts. I get up and run over to the side of his bunk.

"Jeonghan?!" I shake him lightly, attempting to awaken him.

"Please! Don't h-hurt him! I love him!" He screams, tears fully streaming down his cheeks.

"Jeonghan?! Jeonghan, wake up!" By now I'm fully shaking his wracking frame as loud sobs emit from him.

"JEONGHAN!" I scream and his eyes shoot open. He looks at me, fear in his eyes, and tears begin to well up in his eyes again.

Before I can process what happens, Jeonghan's arms wrap around my torso and he buries his head in my chest. "Seungcheol! I d-dreamt y-you-" He cries out, his sentence being cut off by his spluttering.

I wrap my arms around his shaking frame and stroke his hair soothingly. "It's okay. I'm here, we're safe, we're both okay," I whisper in his ear softly.

We stay in that position for who knows how long, until his sobs turn to sniffles, and he calms down a bit.

"Are you okay now?" I ask lightly, not wanting to make him feel worse than he already is.

"Yeah- I think s-so." He blows his nose with a tissue and wipes his eyes dry with his sweater paws.

"So- do you think you can tell me what your dream was about?" He tenses up a bit at my words. I know I should let him calm down first, but if I know what it was about, maybe I can help him.

"I-i don't k-know..." He says, his voice faltering slightly.

I once again wrap my arms around him, and this time pull him down into a laying position. I hold him close as he faces me, our legs tangled and his head resting on my chest.

"M-my dad. He never accepted me when I told him... well, when I told him I was... gay."

"Wait, and you never told me this, why?" I interrupt.

"I didn't want you to be disgusted, or not like me anymore because of i-" I cut him off by pulling him closer to me. I rub his back with one hand, my arm laced around his waist. I take the other hand and tilt his chin to upwards to look me in the eye.

"I could never hate you, Jeonghannie. Now, do you want to continue?" I ask, still holding his chin. He nods lightly, and looks down to my chest.

"I dreamt of confessing it to him. But this time was different because I-" He closes his eyes and inhales deeply, tears welling in his eyes again. I lift his chin once more and force him to make eye contact.

"You, what?"

"We... we were-" He finally opens his eyes. "Together." My face goes slack with shock, and he begins to cry.

"He despised us- he banished me from the house, disowned me from the family, and then he- then he killed you."

I slam my lips to his, not caring anymore. He is clearly shocked, but he quickly responds, moving his lips to match mine. Our two mouths fit perfectly- almost like two missing puzzle pieces.

We break apart slowly, and his eyes are closed, tears rolling down his cheeks for the nth time. I cup his cheeks and wipe the tears away with my thumbs.

"I love you, Yoon Jeonghan. And I would never leave you." He buries his head in my chest, and we fall asleep to the sound of eachother's' heartbeats.

"I love you too, Choi Seungcheol."
