Chapter 13

Louis’ pov

Ok so maybe my plan backfired, I ran to the end of the hall and I felt dizzy. “Guys!” I yelled. I was hoping this was all a dream. That I am just a normal guy not a superhero. “Well well, if it isn’t Superman” I knew it was Lex Luthor, “What do you want?” I yelled. “I want to rule the world” he replied. “I can’t give that to you!” “Oh but Lucy can!” he slid something to me, it was her comic book! “What are you going to do with a comic book?” “I can make all her Villains come to life!” “No you can’t!” I ran towards him and I punched Lex in the face. It was weak, and I knew it was. “You really think you can defeat me?” Lex grabbed my arm and twisted it. I held back the pain. “What’s the matter? Can’t handle it” I didn’t know what to say. I was in shock. “Oh he can with help from us!” I turned around with Lex still twisting my arm. Niall was standing there with Zayn, Liam, Harry and Sky. “Ok guys let’s do this” Zayn yelled. I hit Lex in the leg and threw him to a wall. He got up and ran away. “Uh that was easy, too easy” Niall said with worry.

Zayn’s pov

My spidey senses where tingling, something’s not right. Soon we heard loud thuds. And standing right in front of us was Lex Luthor in a big metal suit. I was shocked. I shot some web around his legs but he grabbed the web and swung me around. I tried to hold on. “WHOA!” I yelled. He let go and I hit a wall. Pain went all up my back. I fell and blacked out.

Niall’s pov

Ok. I know Zayn is out, four outta five left. I threw my shield knowing it wouldn’t do any damage. It hit the machine in the back. He turned around and tried to punch me. I dodged each time. He wasn’t going to hit me any time soon. “Harry! Shoot his back!” I yelled running out of breath. “Alright” harry replied. He shot the back of the machine while Louis tried to freeze his feet in place. We were working as a team! 

Harry’s pov

I shot him in the back loads of times, but it didn’t look like it was damaging him all that much. “Niall you sure that I should hit him in the back?” “Yes! Hurry I can’t run forever!” Niall replied exhausted. I shot his back again and it started to rip apart. Yes! I shot again and again. Soon the back fell off. “Louis get his Legs and Niall you take care of his arms! I’ll go find Lucy!” Liam ordered. “Hey what about me?” I asked. “You can round up the villains!” then Liam ran though one of the opened doors. I don’t want to round up the villains!

Liam’s pov

I ran down the hall looking down every corridor. Lucy was nowhere to be found. Something then hit me in the back. I turned around and it was just a metal ball. It probably only gave me a bruise on my back. “Well Liam I haven’t seen you in a day” I looked around but no one was near me. “You don’t remember me?” soon she stood in front of me. She seemed familiar but then I recognized who she was, “Zoey?”

Zayn’s pov

I got up and looked around I could see Niall, Harry and Louis fighting a huge mech. I tried to stand up but my back was hurting again. I decided to just use my web to help since it was hard for me to stand. “Niall!” I yelled, he was about to get crushed. I shot my web at his hand and pulled Niall to me. “Thanks Zayn” “No problem” “Are you alright?” “My back isn’t great but I can still help” I shot the mech in the face and it then couldn’t see. “Nice!” Niall said excited. I grabbed his shield and handed it to him. “Let’s do this” and I smiled.

Niall’s pov

Zayn and I worked together. I distracted Lex while Zayn tied him up with webs. It was getting intense. No wonder! Then I tripped. Lex was going to punch me in the ground. I could get up because my foot was stuck under a huge metal bar. I closed my eyes and waited. But nothing happened. I opened my eyes to see Zayn holding his hand. So he wouldn’t punch me. “Thank you” I said. I got my leg free and ran. But I guess Zayn didn’t know I was out, “ZAYN!” I tried to yell to him but he wouldn’t listen. He slipped and Lex’s mech smacked Zayn into the ground instead of me. That should have been me. Not Zayn.
