Chapter two

(Kenzie pov)

As we walk up to the group they all stop talking and stare at me.

"Is this her?" One of the girls ask she has a pix cut hair style with bright blue eyes that she has scowling at me.

"Yes this is Kenzie. And this is my girlfriend Emily,her sister Alice and her boy friend Danny." Ben says flipping over my wrist for then to see at first it made me uncomfortable but they all matched mine as well.

"How come my wrist is not glowing? Emilys isnt ether?" I ask Ben. His eyes get big as his face heats up. Emily's wings are the only ones not shining.

"What do you mean glowing?" Emily ask with a fire in her eyes which I didn't quit understand.

"When Ben first showed me his wrist next to mine our wings glew. Like Alice's and Danny's" I explained as pain hit her face.

"Show me." She wisperd at Ben barley above a cry.

"Show me!" She started to scare me. As Ben and I set our arms together the wings glow again and tears begin streaming down her face.

"I told you we weren't ment to be I told you! It's over!" Emily screamed as she ran off.

"What's going on?" I ask as Ben just stands there dumb fucked.

"You mean you haven't explaind it to her yet." Alice and Danny asked at the same time. I'm starting to get scared.

"Explain what Ben I'm getting scared what's going on?"

"Come with me." He whispers into my ear as he pulls me out of the "hide out" and back Into the forest.

"You know how Alice and Danny's wrist glow also well there next to each other?" He ask as he sits by a ledge with his legs hanging off as the life ful vines tickel the back of his leg.

I nod as I sit down beside him.

"We'll the reason our wrist glow is the same as there's and that's because well they are each others other half. Kinda of a meant to be thing." He barley says as he looks away his checks are getting red.

"Like soal mates."

"Yeah kinda... But there only so post to glow when two fallen fall in love... That's why Emily was mad our wrist have never glow together."

"Maybe it was a mistake?" I suggest trying to hide the hope in my voice that been and I could be something.

"It's no mistake Kenzie." He whispers as he pulls me close to him kissing the top of my head. A smile spreads a crossed my face as we look out over the ledge to the world below. Usually I would be Afraid because I hate Heights but with him here I know I'm safe.
