When running for your life you tend to think back to where all the crazy shit kicked off. Well for me that time was about twenty minutes ago, when I accepted a job from an "Old friend" Now for me, it doesn't matter what I carry. After all I invented the motto, "If it fits it ships" for my own little business didn't I? Wing Delivery prides itself on it's anonymity and discretion, and what kind of CEO would I be if I compromised on that? There are however, three cardinal rules.

Rule 1.) No names.

Rule 2.) Don't change the deal

Rule 3.) I don't open the package

These rules exist as a safeguard not only for myself but also for my clients. Well guess what caused all this crazy shit I'm going through now? The client broke rule number two and changed the deal. Now I'm running for my life through downtown Paris with people shooting at me. It's not just Enforcers either, but also Alpha Terran's and Mutant's.

The year is 2576. Earth has colonies on the Moon, Mars, and many other planets. Scientific advances on the human body and mind has led to genetically altered and "superior" humans through a serum called "Elysium." The problem is only people with certain blood types can actually undergo the genetic enhancement treatment without any side effects. For those who had the right blood type, a world of pleasure, riches, and unheard of strength awaited you. If you didn't have the right blood type but took the serum anyway you turned into a Mutant. Due to the horrible side effects the serum had on those unfortunate enough not to have the right blood type, and the rarity of those who did, the serum and all research regarding it was banned on Earth, but space was a different matter.

Thus the science went on underground on earth and above in space, especially on Mars. As failed experiments continued more and more mutants kept popping up, causing havoc and destruction, spreading disease and calamity. Eventually they became such a problem that the Enforcers, Earths military elite, had to "exterminate" them. Yet they are smart, far smarter than us. One year they just simply left, disappearing without a trace. Mass colonization on Pluto started soon after. Yet the Enforcers kept this knowledge a secret, claiming the Mutant menace had been completely wiped out. Eventually the Mutants declared themselves as their own race. They called themselves "Warbeasts" and quickly became a threat that humanity could not ignore.

Now remember those few lucky individuals who had the right blood type and underwent treatment with the Elysium Serum and became altered successfully? Well they did the same thing. They took Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter, calling themselves "Alpha Terrans." After this took place all Earth and the regular humans had left was the Moon. We came to call ourselves "Terrans of Earth" and are now considered the lower race. The Big Three, as citizens call them, have had an unstable if not false peace. With wars being fought in the shadows, slowly brewing a bigger problem.

Now on earth at age eighteen you take a test at the end of your senior year. Depending on how well you do dictates what opportunities you have in the future. It tests your I.Q, evaluates your psyche, and projects your possible success in the future. If you score high enough you get into good colleges or really high end jobs. Score medium and you become an average person, working your life away. Score low though, and you get the shit jobs, literally. Then there is a crazy group of people who simply don't take the test. I am one of those.

Reason being is that after you take the test you are put into the system and can constantly be monitored by the government. The test knows everything about you, and literally dictates what you can be in society and how high you can go. I like my privacy, it's a basic human right, and I enjoy the fact that no one knows anything about me except ME. I wanted to keep it that way, ergo why I didn't take the test.

You may be wondering what happens to those of us who don't take the test. It's simple, we become ghosts. Unseen, unheard, residing in the shadows. There are those of us however who thrive in this world of shadow. I made my fortune and built my reputation through my delivery service, I called it "Wing Delivery." I became very well known and sought after due to my unorthodox methods of transportation.

Yet had I known what I was carrying twenty minutes ago I would have walked away, and maybe all of this could have been avoided.
