Not a Monster (Liam Dunbar/Teen Wolf)

Chapter 5

Chloe's p.o.v

Well it's Monday so that mean that I am in school sadly. Tonight there is a lacrosse game between Devenford prep and beacon hills high school. Right now their bus was pulling in and I really wanted to slap the smirks off their faces .

"I hate guys that think their great" I said to Lydia through gritted teeth

"I don't really mind as long as their good kissers and hot" she said and then laughed

"Hey is that Liam?" Kira said looking alarmed.
I looked over and see a very angry looking Liam and blood starting to drip from him hands

"Oh god.......what are we gonna do?" I asked

"Go over there"  Lydia said oushing me forward while I scurried over to Liam and the boy that he didn't seem to like

"Hey Liam I was looking for you everywhere" I said lying , I noticed his fists starting to loosen

"And who is this?" The other guy asked smirking looking me up and down

"Well I might answer that when you stop undressing me with your eyes" I said crossing my arms as his eyes snapped back up to meet mine

"Im Brett" he stucknout his hand

"I'm leaving , come on Liam" I said trying to pull Liam away

"Aw is this your girlfriend Liam" Brett said. Liam began to get angry again until Scott and Stiles ran in and we managed to get Liam away from Brett and into the boys locker room. Scott and Stiles put him under one of the showers and switched it on to try and calm him since he was close to wolfing out

"It's not working" Stiles said , a look of thought came over Scotts face and he turned to me

"Chloe , come here talk to him say something" he said quickly

"What? Why?" I asked

"Just do it" Scott said.
I walked forward and held Liams shoulders while Scott and Stiles let go , I bega to speak softly

"Liam , listen to me ok , you can control this ok just concentrate , listen to my voice" I tried and with each word he became calmer.

"you ok?" I asked Liam once he returned to his normal state

"Yeah" he nodded

"Ok you two have to get to class" Scott said and threw a top and pants towards Liam

"I'll see you later" I said to Liam and left the boys locker room

Stiles p.o.v

"She's his anchor" I said realising after Liam left

"Yup" Scott breath out

"Have they realised it yet?" I asked

"Nope" Scott said popping the 'p'

"I am not happy about this" I said shaking my head and Scott just laughed pulling me out of the locker room.

Chloe's p.o.v

Right now I was sitting outside on the bleachers next to Mason and Violet , one of my friends waiting for the lacrosse game to start. All the teams were out on the field and were warming up. When the game started and about half way through Liam , Brett and Garrett all chargered towards each other and Brett went down pretty hard , he was brought into the locker room and that's when Violet asked if I could go with her to look for something

"Sure" I smiled

We walked into the locker room and I seen Brett lying on the floor that's when I was attacked , Violet had kicked me to the ground and wrapped something around my neck and began to choke me

"Garrett said not to go after you , that we wouldn't have a chance but here I got you and you are worth a lot of money" she said as I struggled. I managed to get ahold of the wire and pull it away from my neck , I turned towards her

"Guess you should have listened to Garrett" I said when I seen the look of fright on her face.
I kicked her back and pushed her up against one of the lockers , she kicked me and I stumbled back before Scott came in and helped.

All the cops in beacon hills was at the school now and my dad was freaking out

"Are you sure you're ok?" He asked holding my face

"Dad I told you already , I'm fine" I laughed alittle

"Ok , I'll get Stiles to bring you home ok" he said to me before walking away to find Stiles

I went home shortly after that and just fell into my bed. I couldn't sleep that well so I got out of bed and walked towards Stiles's room

"Hey Stiles" I said opening his door

"Yeah?" He asked turninf towards me

"Can I sleep with you tonight?" I asked quietly

"Of course" he said pulling back the sheet

"Thanks" I said getting in the bed. I fell asleep quickly after that.
