As she peered out from behind the door she noticed the water, here and there like a dog had come in from the rain, shaking the drops off its coat as it went through the room. She stepped out of the bathroom wondering where it had all come from, the room was dry not less than 2 minutes before when she had walked through to shower, it seemed to glisten more brightly than if showered with sunlight and a sweet succulent smell seemed to rise from it, taking her thoughts down a path she hadn't been in a long long time. As she put the towel down that she had been using to dry her hair on the bed she felt something under her feet and stopping, slowly looked down, into a puddle she had walked in and looking up at her was a smiling face. What the.. was all that was heard before peaceful silence began again.

Two days later the front door flew into the room, ripped off its hinges by the force of the foot that followed it, slowly ever so slowly the foot and its owner moved into the room knowing what would be found inside. Damn, the owner of the offending foot swore 'why am I getting further and further behind them' he mused, staring at the spot in which the woman had stood now a silver circle almost like a trail a snail would leave but when he bent to touch it out his partner snapped 'knock it off this morning, you know what it does to us.' Yeah, yeah he muttered maybe I want a bit of fun now and then. His partner grinned and replied; Yes Steve but I wouldn't call running into them unprepared fun. You want to ever be able to enjoy a woman again? You know what they can do to you.... Steve groaned I know I know Dave, I'm not into that anyway just hate to miss out on all the fun, I could have helped em, you did see what that woman looked like didn't you? Knock it off Steve and get on with your job, we've got to do this before they finish with her or she'll never make it back to go on a date with you. Dave slapped the back of Steve's head reminding him why they were there.
The men both carefully skirted around the circle ensuring it was undisturbed while they went about their business, cleaning up every last silver speck in the room all the while keeping one eye on the circle. Steve couldn't you have at least opened that front door like humans do? It's going to be a pain in the ass covering up how that happened or did you do that just so you could see her for longer, you know we're not supposed to interact with ..
Just shut up Dave, I was in a hurry ok. Oh ok, so it was to see her, you know I'm going to have to report.. wait, the circle's changing we have to go now or we won't get to her in time. Both men turned as one to the now darkening circle standing on either side trying to set up the atomiser connections as quickly as they could moving at a speed no human could match. The circle was darkening they had to hurry.
