the pots and pans

So this is happening almost every week and in the middle of the night i would hear pots and pans falling down my basement stairs and i wasn't like those people in the movie that would check it out i just stayed in my bed and also i have two cats but they couldn't open a storage space to get them and no one would hear it but me also when i told my mom she says that she couldn't here anything and it still creeps my out because it still happens every week.
