Chapter 1: Just Us

Lyric pov

"Whoop her muthafucking ass, hit that hoe Lyric" nikki shouted

I put my set up and swung at that bitch. I ain't give her no chance to react as I got her with another left than right hook.

I grab her hair and begin kneeing her in the stomach.

I swung at her again and my fist connected with her jaw powerfully. I hit her with a quick right hook and she stumbled back I walked towards her and she tripped over her own feet.

I ran to hurry and get on top of her and continue to hit her in the face.

I could hear everyone yelling Worldstarrrr. but I didn't care my only focus was beating this bitch ass.

someone begin pulling me off of her so I begin kicking her in her face as I was being pulled off of her.

I pushed who ever was holding me back and walked away from the scene before the cops came.

"Damn Lyric you fucked homegirl up" Nikki said

"Girl damn right that bitch just really tried to fight me over Darren like, what the fuck?
I don't even go out with him we are just friends. Damn!!"

"Girl last time I checked Darren was single I don't know why these thirsty hoes always trying to check someone about niggas that ain't even theirs" Nikki said

"Girl me either that bitch just got her ass beat for no Damn reason, dumb hoe" I said putting my hair back in a ponytail.

"Speaking of Darren there he go over there"
Nikki said pointing across the street.

"Darren come here" I yelled

Darren jogged across the street.

"sup Nikki wassup lyric." Darren said giving us hugs.

"Naw Darren im mad at you, you need to control your groupies. I just had to straighten one of them out" I said putting my hands on my hips

"Man what you talkin bout" Darren said getting frustrated

"Darren lyric just got in a fight." Nikki explained

"With who." Darren asked getting upset

"Justice crazy ass. she came up to me demanding me to stay away from you and she started talking real reckless. I was gon let it slide but when she start calling me out of my name, I had to check that hoe."I said

"Why she even came up to you like that" Darren asked

"Cuz she thinks me and you date. why does everyone think that?" I asked

"Because y'all always together. everyone know y'all use to go out and no one really believe y'all just friends." nikki said

"Darren that's gon be the last bitch to check me about you real talk." I said with attitude.

"Awww lyric don't be mad at me"Darren said hugging me

"See that's why people think y'all go out.y'all too lovey dovey." nikki said smiling

"Shutup Nik!" Me and Darren said at the same time.

"I'm tired I think I'm bout to head home" I said.

"Me too" nikki said.

"Come on y'all" Darren said putting his arms around both of us.

We arrived at nikki house first.

"Byee lyric. Text me when you finna walk to the bus stop, and Darren text me when yo mom cook them good ass pancakes." Nikki said while walking up the steps to her house

"Nikki im not texting yo ass last time u ate up all the pancakes and ain't save a nigga nothing." Darren said while giving nikki the side eye

"Whatever nigga you know your momma gonna let me in anyways, imma be at yo house." Nikki said closing the door behind her

"OMG im sooo tired" i said slowing down my pace

"Come on girl, we almost. by your house" Darren said

"Noo darren im serious im tired i need a break we been walking all freaking day, plus that ass whooping i put on ole girl took up all my energy. i dont think imma make it." I said all dramatically, while putting my hand on my forehead.

"Lyricccc" darren said while picking me up bridal style

"Darren put me down!"

"NOPE"!

I looked him in the eyes and he suddenntly stopped

He put me down and we stood chest to chest.

We were soo close i could feel his breath on my checks.

Darren is 6ft. He's tall and extremely handsome. Darren is definitely a whole snack! He's tatted up, with a low hair cut with waves. he has a sexy build from football practices and track, which is just how I like em. And to top it off he have cute dimples that show when ever he smiles. And it's not only his looks that keeps the ladies crawling, he's extremely smart and confident. darren is super caring and protective especially when it comes to me and Nikki. he always treat me and nikki with respect. We all grew up in the same neighborhood and we just clicked from day one. I always found him attractive but we just never took it there with each other because we became genuine bestfriends. So I don't know why I feel this sudden, feeling in my stomach. Could it be butterflies, am I starting to catch feelings for my bestfriend ?

"Darren" i said slowly

"lyric" he said my name slowly almost as if he was in a daze.

I couldnt resist the urge and before i knew it, i stood on my tippy toes and kissed him on his lips

He suddenly snap out of his daze and starred at me

I looked down at the floor suddently embarressed.

"lyrics look at me" Darren said softly

I shook my head and avoided eye contact i was too shocked and embarrassed to move or look up, like i cant believe i just did that.

Darren lift my chin up and we were starring each other in the eye

He kissed my forehead, then my cheek and then he leaned down and kiss me passionately on the lips

I instantly responded and slid my tongue in his mouth he returned the favor and our tongues danced in each others mouth.

He grab my ass and lift me up i could feel his hardness.

OMG this nigga is really turning me on!

We broke away from our kiss and he still had me lifted in his arms, we starred at each other then he kiss me on my neck. i moaned slightly. he began to nibble and suck on my neck and i just knew i was gonna have a hicky but i didn't care i was just soo into the moment, this felt so right.

He put me down and hugged me tightly whispering in my ear i love you Lyric.
