Nikki pov

"Jerome?" I called out. I woke up in his bed remembering the talk we had yesterday.

"Nik get dressed your mom called and told me to bring you home."

"Jerome how my mom know I was with you?" I asked

"Shidd I don't know I guess she knows you either with me, Darren or Lyric."

"Okay I'm finna get dress." I said as I started to look for some old  clothes I know I left at his house.

I was cleaning my room trying to forget about the situation with pablo and Jerome.

"Nik!" my sister yelled

"What RiRi!" I yelled back.

"Pablo's Here to see you" she yelled.

Shit I thought. "tell him I'm not here" I yelled back.

"Too late" she yelled back. I opened my room door to cuss her out, and there stood Pablo.

"Nikki why you avoiding me" he said as he pushed me aside and walked into my room. damn he looked pissed.

Lyric pov

Hey Spida. I said as I checked out my book from the library.

wassup lyric, why you don't kick it with me no moe.

cuz boy you already know I gotta  boyfriend. you know I go out with Darren.

so we can't be friends cuz, you gotta man he asked.

stop playing you know you want to be more than just my friend I said.

come on lyric, we use to have so much fun, we smoked together and just chilled, I ain't trying to be nothing more then just your friend. spida said grabbing my books and holding the door open for me.

we walk out of the library.

Damn lyric why you always reading them nasty books Spida said as he looked at my books.

shut up boy they not nasty they're entertaining I said as I playfully mushed him in the head.

I couldn't wait to get home to read them. I was like a true book freak I love urban fiction especially wahida clark books.

Spida what were you doing in the library any ways, it's Saturday don't you have more important stuff to do I asked.

actually Lyric I volunteer there. I read books to the lil kids Saturday mornings. spida said

omg that's so sweet. I said looking at spida.

yeah I need volunteer hours for school so I figured I might as well do something that I like to do, which is read.

Damn spida I never knew you like to read I said.

lyric it's a lot you don't know bout me. like how im in the top ten percent of our class, and that I never made less than a B on anything, and even tho I'm tatted up and smoke weed almost everyday doesn't mean I'm not thinking bout my future. spida said smiling at me.
