Prologue:
We ran through fire of the city, the smoke blinding us. We had been running for a while now not stopping, for we know something or someone was chasing us.
When we thought we were safe, we stopped, and gasped, trying to breath in the clean air.
"That was a close call..." Diana said softly, once she caught her breath.
I murmured in agreement, and looked at the fallen city.
I turned to Tess to say something, but stopped, knowing something was wrong.
"Is everything alright?"
She didn't turn around.
"Tess what's up?" Diana said, turning Tess around softly.
"Please....." She said softly before dropping to the ground, showing an arrow that had struck her.
"R-run..." She said softly, as she took her last shaky breath.
"T-Tess?!" I yelled, as I dropped the to the burnt ground by my dead sister.
"She....was....my only....sis- sister..." I cried softly, begging silently I was dreaming.
Diana turned to me and looked at me with sad, but strong eyes.
"I'm sorry, but we must go....we can't stay here...those things...will come for us."
I didn't turn around.
"Your sister said to run, and that's what we must do..."
