Chapter 2

"I spy with my lil eyes, more bottles of alcohol. Woohoo. Gimme more alcohol, guys. I neeeeeeeeeed it. I waaaaaant it." I squeaked on the sofa after having another shot of vodka. I guess it was my seventh one.

You must be wondering how I ended up getting drunk. Well, after we went to McDonald's, I had the urge to drink. Yeah, I know I'm breaking the law but hey, who cares?? Anyhoo, we decided to go to my place and have some fun.

One of the advantages of not having your parents at home is the alcohol. We can take as much as we want. Although, I think my parents are starting to doubt it. Aaah, who cares??

"This is the liiiiiifffeee, hold on tiiiiight. And this is the dreeeeeeeam, it's all I neeeed", I started singing. "For pete's sake, don't ever siiiiing cuz youuuu suck", Ali said, clearly drunk like me. "Oye, I'm a gooooood siiiiinger. Plus, it's Hannah Montana's song. How can you tell me to not sing it", I replied back. "I knew it was a bad idea to let them drink", Roby said. Well, when I said we were getting drunk, it turned out to be me and my sister cuz the others were too full. Oh well, too bad for them.

"ROOBBBYYYY!!! Come here. I've to show you something", Ali shrieked. Roby goes to her and asks,"What's up, Ali??".

"I'm drunk", Ali whispered but all of us heard it. "O kaaaaayyy" was Roby's answer.

"You guys are pathetic", I said as I stood up from the sofa but immediately lost my balance and ended up falling back on the sofa.

"And you're the queen of all that is pathetic and stupiiiiiid", drunk Ali said.

"Whatever, at least I'm a queeeeeeen heehee haahaa". I looked around at my other friends and saw that Ron and Ash were busy playing video games, Rach and Regi were cheering for them like cheerleaders. Literally dancing around and singing like cheerleaders. What the fudoodle cakes!?

Whereas for Aide, he was just doing his normal thing. Reading an encyclopaedia. Nerd!

"Guys!!! I am sleepy. I'm gonna go sleeeeeeeeep cuz I loooove my sleeeeeep", I said, feeling tired. "Can someone please carry me??" I asked with puppy dog eyes. "NO WAYS!", all said in unison. Wow! And here I thought we were all best friends.

Anyhoo, I ended up walking upstairs on my own. I go to my room and fall on my bed. I check my phone and see the time. It's 6 pm. That's it??And then immediately, I fall into deep sleep.

I wake up the next morning at around 8 am with a pounding headache. Damn, I'm never drinking again. You said the same thing last time. Professor X?? Is that you?? No, you bag of shit. I'm you!  You're me?? But I thought, I was me. And if you're me, then who am I?? Gosh, women! We are the same. I'm your mind speaking. Whaaaat? Oh! I'm talking to myself again, aren't I? Yes! Yes you are!! And since I'm the smart one in this body, I suggest you to listen to me and go take some tablets!  Yeah, that's exactly what I need to do. Thanks, umm...me? You're welcome.

I head off to the kitchen and search for aspirin tablets. I pick one for myself and another one for Ali. Even though I was drunk, I still remember what I said and who I was drunk with.

As I was about to take the tablet and calm my freaking headache, I hear the door open. I guess it's mom and dad. They must be really tired. Immediately, I make lemon juice for them and pour it in two glasses. The tablet will have to wait for some time. I take the glasses and go to my parents, who are lying on the couch.

"Mom?? Dad??" "Oh hey, sweetie. Did we wake you up?", Mom asked. "Uh no! I was already up. I made some lemon juice for you guys", I said. "Thank you so much, sweetheart, but your dad and I already had on the way. We are too full", mom said.

"It's just lemon juice. It's good for digestion too. Please mom, dad. I made it specially for you guys." Even though I had a throbbing headache, I wanted to add.

"Sweetheart, your mom and I are full and we would just like to rest for sometime. Maybe some other time, yeah?" Dad said.

"Okay!" Was all I could say as I quietly went back to the kitchen with the glasses. I could feel my headache get worse. So, I took the tablet and drank the lemon juice. I guess, Ali could drink the other one.

I head back to my room but not before passing the living room where my parents are resting. Before I go upstairs, mom calls me,"Hey Audi, we've some good news for you. Your girls is coming to LA tomorrow morning with his mum and his son and they are going to be staying here in LA for the vacations."

OH. MY. GOSH!!! Godpa is coming along with grandma??Whaaaaat??? I think I'm gonna pass out. This is going to be the best vacation ever.

My godpa aka Mr. Andrew Carvalho has been working with our family for as long as I can remember. When Ali and Ash were born, Mom and dad weren't that busy as they are now. After my birth, their business started blooming. So they both were busy with running their business and stuff. I barely got to spend time with them during that period. First three years, were hectic but then it slowed and then came the arrival of Aide, so they had time for my lil brother.

Even though they weren't there for me, Superman was there and I'll never forget that. He's like a second father to me. He also happens to be the CEO of Carvalho Consultancy Group and is my dads best friend aside from Ron's father. He has a son named, zack, who stays with his mom. Superman and his wife got divorced three years after zack's birth and his mom got his custody. She stays with her son in Arizona and superman stays here in LA with nana, that is, zack's grandma, who is one of the sweetest, wisest and funniest souls I have ever seen.

Anyhoo, Superman and nana go to Arizona every vacation to spend time with zack and this must be the first time, they're gonna be here with us. I can't wait to see them. Yayy.....
