The next day was a day for me and Hannah. The boy trusted her to take care of me. I need to talk to her anyway. I ran to the shower and turned on the water letting it heat up while I ran to grab my ihome. The dried blood on my forearm from my recent cutting washed down the drain as I scrubbed my bare body in coconut scented body soap. I ran my fingers through tangled mess I call hair. I rinsed every last bit of soap off and stepped out onto the cold marble floor. I snatched my towel off the toilet seat and ran to get dressed. It was going to be warm today so I pulled on my ripped highwaisted jean shorts, my black crop top that says 'Nobody Cares' in bold writing, and my white hightop converse. There was a knock my door.
"Come in!"
I screamed over the music still playing. It was Harry, he walked over to unplugg my ihome.
"Looking beautiful as always. The boys and I have an interview soon."
"That's good, because it mine and Hannah's day today."
He gave me a smile and walked over to me, my hair was still up in a towel. Harry pulled me into his warm embrace.
"Have fun, DylliePoo."
I honestly couldn't help but laugh.
"DylliePoo, really? That's the bet you could do?"
He chuckled and kissed my nose. He left to the hallway leaving the door wide open. I left my hair dry naturally into its curls and applied very little makeup, or the essentials. I was pleased when I looked in the mirror, except for the visible scars I my wrist.
"Hannah! I know you're in Louis' room! Get your ass up, we're leaving!"
I'm trying hard to forget yesterday.. My mothers alive. She walked in seconds later and we left for our favorite spot in the world. OUR place. The train tracks. We started walking along and just chatted for a while.
"Han, my mom is still alive."
It's like yesterday kept replaying in my head over and over.
"Dyl, this is Bekah we are talking about a cold hearted murder, who I'm going to beat the shit out of."
"But what if-"
Hannah cut me off.
"Not buts. No ifs. No getting your hopes up. I don't want you getting hurt."
I rolled my eyes. What does she know, ugh. I tried changing the subject.
"So, what's going on with you and Lou?"
I winked at her.
"I like him, I really do! but it's like I'm living a dream."
"Dude can you like keep me out of that dream? I don't really like walking in on you to having sex."
We both started laughing, then it got seriously again.
"Death"
I whispered. I knew the feeling overcoming me. As much as I loved Hannah and the boys they'd be better of if I weren't here. If they didn't have to worry about me 24/7. This happens a lot. It's like I'm in a trace. But I know in not. I felt the tracks start rumbling below my toes."
------------HANNAH'S POV-------------
I watched as Dylan kept a straight face. It worried me, a train was coming.
"Why do we live. Why do live if there is only disappointment. If we were born to disappoint. Why do we love if we know someday it's going to end, wether it's death, divorcee? Why do we breath, if we know the next could be our last."
That bitch kept talking about shit I didn't understand. No one really understands what goes on in her head although somedays I feel as we are connected.
"Dylan come on the trains coming. We have to get off the tracks."
I pulled at her hand.
"Why Hannah! Why! What's the point? It's going to happen someday! Why not today? Huh, tell me! Why!"
She screamed in my face. The train got closer and closer each second.
"Dylan we all live for a reason, come on. You have to move off the tracks!"
I tried nudging her a bit.
"I want to die. I need to, that's my reason."
She softly stated. We were almost face to face with a speeding train, Dylan wasn't moving on her own anytime soon. So I shoved her off the tracks and ran off right after. The train literally just missed us.
"Sorry, but I'm not losing you today."
I grasped her wrist as tight as I could knowing it hurt her a bit. Tears slowly trickled from her face.
"I didn't m-mean to.. I just. It's just"
She resembled to a sad puppy. I hugged her.
"It's okay. Ice cream date ?"
I joked trying to cheer her up.
................. DYLAN'S POV ....................
I sniffled. This is why she's my best friend. What's wrong with me. How could I have almost made her suffer by watching me die? My curls bounced around as we walked towards town to an ice cream booth. We ordered and took a seat on the edge of the sidewalk and she grabbed my hand. We walked around town eating our ice cream.
"Thank you."
I said , she gave a smile in return. Then a strange look appeared on her face.
"Phones vibrating! and it's Liam?"
She announced. I left her to talk and I just carelessly kept walking. I throughout my dish and walked into a small boutique. A little bell at the top of the door rang as I opened it.
"Hello dear."
As I looked up, the woman was almost in tears.
"Oh my god"
She winced wide eyed.
* Til next time !
