Chapter 2: Wildfire

(Harry's P.O.V.)

My class was in chemistry class and we were having an experiment, but since we finished fast we started to do whatever we wanted. We made chemical reactions and it was really cool and funny.

Right when I left, I still had my glasses on and I passed down the hallway back to the lab from the bathroom and right then and there the bell had rung and everyone was going to the lockers.

And of course, as I walked down, I was met with those beautiful brown eyes. You have to know that I was wearing beige chinos and a blue polo with a grey and blue argyle sweater over the polo.

"Hey" said Zayn. "You look nerdy"

"Well thanks everyone else complimented my clothes as preppy and cute too." I replied.

"Umm, mine wasn't a compliment" he said and then laughed uncontrollably. I then kept looking towards him with a noticeably fake pout as I left, because it seemed to me like he actually did like my outfit.

After picking up my things from the lab and changing my books at the lockers, I met up with my group of friends.

"Hey Harry, we're going to Starbucks, you coming?" Cher said really loudly.

"Sure I'm up for it." I said, and after all it was Friday, and I promised to enjoy myself.

Leaving school, I hoped onto Josh's car and went to Starbucks. Also, I texted my mother to let her know I was ok and all...

At Starbucks, I ordered the usual, Chocolate Chip Cream (Coffee Free). I like coffee free because I'm afraid of being addicted to coffee... Don't ask.

Once we all huddled and sat down together, we started talking.

"So" Cher started "It's been awhile since we've talked about this, so there are probably updates on-"

"Crushes" Perrie said cutting off Cher like she knew she was going to say. "But hey guys shes got a point. And there's no use in hiding cause we're all friends here..."

After a long while, it was my turn. Obviously I didn't want anyone to know because I knew they would misinterpret. So I came up with a plan. And luckily Perrie was by my side.

"Perrie" I whispered. "I need your help."

"What is it?" she asked in a whisper as well.

"I swear I'll explain to you but please play along with me?" I begged.

"Oh alright" she sighed.

As they all turned to me, since it's my turn, I prepared myself to improvise.

"So Harry, who's the closest person to the Styles charm?" Josh asked with a smirk.

"Well, the lucky lady is in this group and has not gone yet, and I'm now happy to confess that Perrie," I said as I looked towards her "has stolen my heart".

I swear Perrie is a professional, she watered her eyes, nodded, and hugged me in an accepting way that kind of told the others that she liked me as well.

As we were all leaving, I chose to leave with Perrie, and in doing so I explained everything about Zayn, and she told me all about her real crush. I knew she would keep it all a secret cause thats just how Perrie is to me, she knows everything about me. And I also knew she wouldn't judge me for anything. I love her, she is a true friend.

The only thing I didn't know was that the lie I said about Perrie and me was going to spread like wildfire...
