Hinata Shouyou X Reader {Giggle Fits}

Hinata watched as Nishinoya and Tanaka flirted with you. It annoyed him greatly. Both his senpais knew you guys were dating but they still flirted with the first year manager.

"Hey [Name]-chan!"

Nishinoya asked running up to her a wide grin spread across his face.

"What is it Nishinoya-senpai?"

She asked with a gentle smile. After taking a moment to recover from being called senpai Nishinoya's grin returned.

"How many tickles does it take to make a octopus laugh?"

He asked trying to suppress his laughter. [Name] thought for a moment before shrugging.

"How many, senpai?"

She asked. Nishinoya's grin spread even wider.

"TEN TICKLES!"

He said before guffawing. [Name] silently giggled and nodded.

"That's very funny Nishinoya-senpai."

She said before he was called back to practice. Hinata watched as she went back to talking with Yachi about a summer training regiment. This caused him to not notice the ball flying straight to his face.

SMACK!

"Hinata! You dumbass! Pay attention!"

Kageyama scolded him. [Name] walked over worry written all over her face.

"Sho-chan are you alright?"

She asked helping her boyfriend up. Hinata shrugged and [Name] poked his nose making him flinch.

"Hmm... It might be sprained. I'll take him to the nurse."

She said guiding Hinata to the exit. As they walked Hinata decided to ask what had been bothering him for a while now.

"[Name]-chan. Do you ever laugh?"

This caught [Name] by surprise. She rubbed the nape of her neck sheepishly.

"Of course I do Sho-chan."

She said as if it where obvious. They entered and she went to look for something to fix his nose.

"No [Name]-chan. You silently giggle! There is a big difference!"

He said as she came back with the nurse. After a couple moment she fixed his nose and told him to not get hit in the face anymore.

"Okay so I giggle. That's still a type of laugh."

She said grabbing his hands kissing his nose lightly. Hinata sighed but had not given up just yet.

The next day Hinata decided to confront his volleyball team members while she was busy helping Yachi and Kiyoko and the coach.

"Ano... how do you make a girl laugh?"

He asked shyly. A majority of his team members turned to face him while Nishinoya and Tanaka grinned.

"Well you tell her funny jokes of course!"

Tanaka said loudly.

"But what if that doesn't work?"

This surprised Tanaka. Tsukishima smirked.

"Do something stupid. That shouldn't be hard for you."

He said making Yamaguchi chuckle.

"Nice one Tsukki."

Hinata pouted sadly as Sugamama *cough* I mean Sugawara walked up.

"If you're trying to make [Name] laugh try making funny faces. That always works with my partner."

"Partner? Suga-senpai are you gay?"

"Okay! Hinata lets start practice. Suga shut up."

Daichi said with a nervous look moving Hinata away. Suga only chuckle happily.

Hinata tried for a week to make [Name] Laugh but every time she would only silently giggle. That wasn't the reaction Hinata wanted. He wanted her on the ground clutching her stomach in pain from laughing so hard.

"Ugh. I give up!"

Hinata cried out tiredly. [Name] looked at him confused as they sat and ate lunch on the rooftop.

"What the matter Sho-chan?"

[Name] asked pulling out two cupcakes from her lunch.

"I can't make you laugh. I'm a horrible boyfriend."

He said dejectedly. [Name] handed him a cupcakes which he dismissively took.

"Oh..."

She said quietly. Hinata ate his homemade bento sadly making [Name] sigh.

"I don't like laughing because I think it sounds weird..."

She quietly admitted making Hinata look up.

"I was picked on as a kid for it... So I try not to laugh ever..."

She explained looking down at her cupcake. Hinata nodded and gave a gentle smile.

"Alright. Sorry for trying to force you..."

He said making [Name] smile again.

"It's okay Sho-chan-"

"WATCH OUT!"

Someone shouted behind [Name] making her duck. She looked up to see Hinata with teriyaki sauce all over his face. With a small sigh he lifted his hand up to wipe it off completely forgetting about the cupcake resulting him smearing the icing all over his face.

"UWAH!!"

He said a blush rising to his cheeks. He looked over at [Name] to see her biting her lip a large grin across her face.

"Pffft."

She let out and a moment later she was falling back laughing so much she was clutching her stomach. A large smile spread across Hinata's face as he laughed a little too. A moment later [Name] was back to a sitting position wiping a tear from her eye.

"S-sorry about that Sho-chan. I couldn't hold it."

She said giggling slightly.

"Honestly [Name]-chan I don't get why you're embarrassed about it."

He said making her look at him. A large smile across his face.

"Your laugh is the prettiest thing I've ever heard!"
