It was a dark blue circle. The color reminded me of the galaxy, but it was more than just the color that led me to such a conclusion. The speckles of green swirled around in the midst. It sparkled when the light reflected into the deep blue mass. Each dot of white looked like the stars, as if every night that pair of eyes looked up at the starry sky and after a while, the image stayed, glued to the surface. The set was older and it was obvious. Every time it would blink, it was slow, like there was an image on the back of the eye lid that would make you not want to take your eyes off of it. Maybe there was an image. Perhaps it was a long lost memory that his eyes finally found. Maybe it was a new memory that he never wanted to forget. Either way, something was there. When they were open you could see that his eyes were heavy with all the things he had seen.
