Ali and Viktor were in the cafeteria, sitting on a table. Viktor was playing games on his iPad while Ali was not eating his nasi lemak he bought on a plate, instead he was playing around with it using his spoon.

"What's wrong?" Viktor asked, still keeping his eye on his iPad. "Don't feel like eating?"

"No..." Ali turned over to face him. "I just haven't told you yet that..."

Although Viktor was still playing his game, Ali could see him raising an eyebrow.

"I'm leaving the place. I'm moving," Ali said sadly as his head drooped down.

Viktor stopped playing and looked at his friend. He felt sad that he was leaving. Why? Is this a joke?

"Why so?" Viktor asked.

"I...my dad..."

Alicia walked in beside them and interrupted. "His dad wanted to see how it's like there. To make up his mind to move or not permenantly there."

"Oh..." Viktor chewed his lips. "Is that true?"

Ali hesitated. "Yeah. It is."

Alicia winked at Ali, but still kept her serious expression on and left. Ali stared as she walked away.

"I understand." Viktor nodded. "When will you be back?"

Ali looked at him as both of them made direct eye contact.

"I..." Ali scratched his back head. "I don't know. I might not even come back. But you have my phone number right?"

Viktor nodded. "We still can stay in touch. When are you leaving?"

Ali smiled crookedly. "Tomorrow morning."

"Oh..." Viktor nodded again. "I see."

Bell rang and a few students were walking or running back to their classes already.

"The bell rang!" Ali exclaimed.

"Let's get back to class," Viktor said.

Both of them got down from the bench and followed the line of people back to class.
