Thousand sleepless nights have spent without you,

the days got longer and darker the nights grew.

Stopped feeling its raining outside or it's gentle drop of dew,

but can never forget your touch and you.

Thousand more nights of loneliness I have to bear,

failure to make you love me is all that I fear.

Despite all that I feel, cant come to be close to you or near,

thinking of you in someone else arms fill my eyes with tears.

More than poverty and failure I curse this separation,

asking god why man created boundaries and nations,

though we speak different language and follow different culture,

but I am not that common canny vulture.

The promises that I have made will keep them,

will bright joy to your life, will enlight it with lamp.

duration of time may make you unresponsive and cold,

but with every passing day my love for you will grow daring and bold.

Though it looks like a distant dream and impossible,

have faith in us that we can make it possible.

All I ask god is luck, patience and time,

promise you one day the star of our love will also shine.
