Loki Love Story

Chapter 6

Prologue for Chapter 6-

Thor's ceremony for his betrothal is today, but something goes wrong.

Chapter 6-

That night I go have a shower in the private showers, I'm alone because it's dark and nobody would be awake, I hear a voice, "Chara, I got you a dress for tomorrow, Loki told me you needed one." It must be Frigga, I say, "Yes, I told Loki I needed something to wear tomorrow, thank you." She says, "It's alright, see you tomorrow." I say, "Good night." I continue on with my shower and when I'm finished I dry off and get dressed. The dress is green with golden lining, it's the same colour as Loki's clothing. I walk back to Loki's room and there are guards standing in front of the door, they move out of the way and let me in. Loki is standing in the room ready to go to sleep, I walk up to him and say, "I'm going straight to bed, I'm worn out from today." I kiss him on the cheek and put my dress away, somewhere safe. I walk to the bed and Loki isn't in the room, I get into the bed, and go straight to sleep. The next morning Loki wakes me up early. The bruise on my head has gone. I get dressed into something comfortable and I walk to down to the room where we have breakfast. It's the same food as yesterday and I decide to eat yoghurt and fruit. When I finished I quickly walked back to Loki's room and he was still down at breakfast. I got changed into the dress Frigga got for me and it's the perfect size. I decide not to wear shoes with this dress because I don't have any that suit it. I walk to the throne room and people have started to arrive. I see Loki and walk to him, I ask, "When did you get changed?" He said back, "Just before, I got changed in Thor's room. You have to stand over there, Gemma is waiting for you." I look around and see Gemma, I walk over to her and she says, "What did you do yesterday with Loki? I didn't see you anywhere." "I went for a horse ride with Loki and Thor to the beach past the forest." "Oh my gosh, what did you guys do there? Did you ki-" "Shush Thor is here!" Everybody is screaming as Thor walks in and he shows off with his hammer.

As soon as he gets to the bottom of the stairs, he kneels down, puts his hammer on the ground and takes his helmet off and puts it on the ground. I stop listening for a while and gaze off to Loki. Then I stop and the King says quietly, "Frost Giants!" Everybody gasps and starts panicking. Thor, Loki and Odin go to the weaponary room. I don't follow, I let them go. I try to stay calm so I go to the room where we eat. Nobody is in there except some slaves preparing lunch. I sit on the balcony. Later on Loki comes to me, I ask, "What happened?!" Loki says, "Everything is fine! Some frost giants got into Asgard, don't worry!" I nod my head. Thor walks in. He furiously flips the table over with all the food on it. Loki tells me, "Go finish what you were doing I will handle Thor." I nod and walk off, what would make Thor so angry?!

It's dinner time, and I havn't seen Loki or Thor since lunch time. I go to King Odin, I ask him, "Where are Thor and Loki?" He says, "They went to Jotunheim, and I was just about to go there. Why do you ask?" "Well, I havn't seen them since lunch but before you go I need to tell you something!" I tell him everything about me being born a mortal and if he could tell Loki when he has the chance. "I surely will tell Loki when I have the chance! Now I have to go to Jotunheim." "Goodbye." I walk off and hopefully Loki and Thor are alright. I eat dinner with Frigga alone. I tell Frigga, "I'm going to go wash off." She says, "Okay." She smiles and I stand up and walk to the private showers. I get changed and there's chill down my spine, must be cold tonight. I have a quick warm shower and get changed and walk inside to a room where you can relax. I see Loki, Volstagg, Hogun, Fandral, and Sif, but no Thor. I run up to Loki and give him a big hug, "Where did you go? I was worried. And where is Thor?" Loki hugs me back and says, "We, went to Jotunheim under Thor's commands and Thor was punished, so his power of strength is gone and he got sent to Midgard." Tears come rolling down my face, I look straight into Loki's eyes, emerald green like always. He looks at his arm, I look at his arm, I touch it, and it's freezing cold, I say, "Why is your arm so cold?" He looks at my face and says, "I don't know, but don't worry. Go to bed I should be there later. I need something to take my mind off today." I walk off to Loki's room. What could of made his arm so cold? I don't understand, the only way he could become so cold was by a frost giant touching him.

I get changed, I'm not tired so I read a book. I have been for reading for about half an hour now and Loki has just walked in. He comes and sits on the bed and takes his shoes off. He places them where he always puts them. He gets changed and comes and sits next to me on the bed. My eyes follow him where ever he goes. I put the book down on the bedside table and say, "Are you alright, Loki?" He looks at me and smiles then nods, he doesn't seem alright, "You don't seem alright, tell me what's wrong." He says, "I'm not actually sure if I'm alright," I look into his eyes, he says, "When I was at Jotunheim, one of the frost giants held my arm and it turned blue, like the colour of the frost giants skin, but it didn't hurt!" I'm shocked, I say, "Well there's nothing we can do about that can we." Loki lay down and put his back to me, I lay down and I face his back and slowly drift off to sleep. The next morning I wake up late, Loki isn't in bed. I get dressed and go to breakfast. I quickly eat breakfast because no one is there, I go to the throne room, no one is there. Usually there is someone in each room, not including the guards. I must not be doing work today but I will help around with the slaves anyways.
