The new girl and I had spent the past few weeks together. I have learnt so much about her, and she seems like a fun adventurous person. Her and her father left their home in London because her father was transferred here for work, he worked as a dressmaker for Saint Laurent and is going to be working for the new store opening up here in Australia. That's where Lily gets all of her fancy clothes. She also had a boyfriend back in England, her family hated him but she insisted that he was 'sweeter once you knew him'. They broke up a week before she moved and apparently she hooked up with a lot of guys because of that. I began asking about her mother but by the way her eyes dulled and back slumped, I could tell it was a touchy subject.

"Hey odie, why don't you come over for a sleepover tonight?" I scowled slightly because of the nickname she had recently given me.

"Don't call me that! That's like the weird dog the have in Garfield." I scrunched up my nose and she laughed.

"So? You coming or not?" She pushed, linking her arm through mine.

"Fine I guess so" I rolled my eyes at her before flashing her a wide smile as she squealed.

"I'll send you my address, come by whenever" she chirped before skipping off to the bus stop. My house was barely a block away, so I usually walk home after school.

On my walk I began thinking about how different Lily and I are. She has so much experience with boys, she had an older boyfriend who she gave her virginity to, while I on the other hand haven't even kissed a boy. She rocked up to school everyday with perfect teeth, perfectly straightened hair, pristine ironed uniform and her annoyingly clear skin. I rocked up to school with my unbrushed hair tied up messily in a bun, school skirt that was too small for me and my socks pulled up to my knees because I hadn't had the energy to shave. So why did she want to be friends with me?

The popular girls at school asked her to sit with them but she politely declined and linked her arm through mine. Before I knew it I was at my front door so I pulled out my key and unlocked it. As soon as I stepped into my house, the amazing smell of cooking onion and garlic filled my senses.

"Mm smells good Mum" I shouted through the house as I walked through to the connected living room and kitchen. "Thanks honey, I'm making pasta" she smiled brightly at me. I've always adored my mother, she was such a strong woman. My father left us when I was younger but we've made a new start for ourselves. I don't see why anyone would want to leave her though, She had beautiful brown eyes and reddish-brown hair and was still extremely young. At the moment she was only thirty-seven and I was sixteen. I would tell her everything going on at school and she was basically a teenager bitching with me.

"Too bad I won't be here to eat with you" I smirked. Her mouth formed an 'o' and she smirked slightly.

"Has my baby got a date?" She said cheekily, but I rolled my eyes.

"No mumma, Lily invited me to sleepover" I assured her. She smiled, she loved it when I did things with friends or just went out in general considering it didn't happen very often.

"Go pack a bag and shower, then I'll drive you." She shooed me.

I went to my room and packed a bag, putting in pajamas, toiletries and a change of clothes for tomorrow. I then went to the bathroom and undressed myself and stepped into the shower, shaving my legs and privates for the first time in three weeks, washing my hair, washing myself with coconut scented soap and scrubbing my body. I turned off the water and put a towel around my head and body, before walking back to my room and changing into a tee and tracksuit pants. I slipped on some ugg boots as I walked back to the kitchen, pulling my mother with me to the car.

"Where are we going?" Mum asked me as we buckled ourselves. I gave her the address Lily sent me and mother commented 'nice place' quietly. She drove me silently there before stopping in front of a beautiful house, more like mansion. I stepped out of the car and started awestruck at the ginormous thing. I rang this automatic doorbell thing on the fence and after two rings someone picked up. "Push the gate" Lily chirped and I did exactly that. I waved my mother off and walked through the gate. The front yard was also beautiful, but you couldn't see it from the big wall fence around the place. I got to the front door and it automatically opened. I thought it was a sensor or something but then I saw Lily had opened it.

"Come in" she said, pulling me by the arm.

"Your house is amazing" I gasped, looking at the interior.

"Dad gets cash" she said, swiping her tongue across her too teeth. She brought me to the kitchen after we had put my bags in her room, which was agin amazing. She opened the fridge and pulled out some food when I heard a door slam. I walked closer to Lily and helped her hold a bunch of food when a deep voice was heard behind me.

"Lily darling, are you going to introduce me to your friend?" I immediately turned my head to see a handsome man, more actually a gorgeous man. He was nothing I had expected at all. He wore an all black fitted suit, where his long chestnut curls were reaching his shoulders, and he stared intensely at me with his emerald colored eyes. My jaw was probably on the floor so I straightened my posture and smiled nervously.

"Oh dad, this is a friend of mine, Odessa." She said. I went to wave at him but my hands were full so I shook my head awkwardly. God what was I doing?
"What did I tell you about calling me that?" He cringed, Lily sighed and rudely said "sorry, father"

"Odessa, what an odd name for such a odd girl" he commented. I don't know what he mean by that but I was quite offended if he meant what I thought he did.

"What's that supposed to mean Mr. Styles?" I said.

"Oh nothing bad darling, just that you're different to the girls Lily usually brings here" he assured, giving me a smile that made me swoon, especially since he called me darling.

"And who do I usually bring" Lily scoffed.

"Girls who are just like you my dear, prissy and rude" he sassed, Lily just rolled her eyes and walked over to him, kissing him on the cheek lightly as he read some paperwork before walking us upstairs leaving the beautiful man downstairs.

Lily shut all her blinds and played a movie on the tv in her room, unlike me who would have to use me and my mothers shared laptop. I didn't even k ow the name of the movie but Lily told me to watch it because it was the 'best movie you'll ever frickin see' all I saw was a bunch of shirtless fraternity boys getting drunk. My type of movie taste was different to any other girl my age. It was odd but I had a thing for movies, I loved them. Especially the most messed up ones. We ate all the packets of chips and lollies that we had brought up and by the time we had watched about three movies it was around one in the morning.

My throat was feeling dry after all the chips and chocolate so I hopped out of bed, being careful not to wake drooling Lily and snuck downstairs. I managed to find my way through the maze into the kitchen, the marble flooring being cold on my feet. The cupboards were all glass so I easily found the cups and filled it up with tap water before drinking the whole thing and making my way back. I passed through the living room and noticed a very organized stack of movies next to a large TV. The lights were still on so I decided to go have a look, maybe I could put one on in Lilly's room because I wasn't tired. I sat down on my knees, scanning all the classic movies. I picked out few of my favorites. Silence of the Lambs, Girl Interrupted, The Shining, Carrie, (the original obviously. I was so caught up in excitement that I don't notice the man behind me.

"My prized possession" he said huskily. I jolted and almost squealed.

"God, you scared me" I laughed. He returned with a dimpled smile. Oh.

"You like movies?" He asked curiously. I nodded my head eagerly. He walked closer to examine them with me and looked down at me on my knees in front of him, his eyes darkened but he blinked rapidly and it was soon gone.

"Um what's your favourite?" He said quickly, looking a little flustered.

I thought about it for a second.

"Silence of the Lambs, you're always on edge and questioning your every thought. It's like you know who the killer is but at the same time you don't. I love it because it's a movie where you're not even that interested in who the killer is, only the fact that you want to know what he is doing with all these women. It is dark and unexpected and honestly twisted things intrigue me" I said, putting heart into my words.

Mr. Styles looked shocked and raised his eyebrows before speaking up.

"You are a different one aren't you, don't worry though darling I like it"
