Chapter 2- School, Fun.

Ellie's POV

I walked into the crisp morning air. Ah, first day of school, first day of senior year in fact. I heard the front door slamming behind me.

"You ready to go?" she said walking towards her car.

"Yep." I said running up to catch up with her. I opened the passenger door and got in, my mom getting behind the wheel.

"So, you excited?" my mom said starting the car and pulling out of the garage.

"Yeah..." I trailed off.

"So what's the name of that boyband you like- oh yes! One Direction! They are coming to town in 3 weeks. The mention of their band made me perk up.

"Really?" I was shocked my mom found out before me.

"Yeah surprised you did not now that!" She said just then she reached in her purse. Keeping her eyes peeled on the road. She pulled out an envelope and handed it to me.

"This is for you and Dani." Dani was my bestfriend. I opened the envelope and felt my eyes widen at the two tickets lying in front of me. I shrieked in happiness.

"Omg I love you forever! How did you afford these?" I said still bursting inside.

"Uh, will talk about that later." she said smirking. We pulled up in front of the school and I ran out of the car, inside towards Dani's locker. I saw the back of the red head going through her locker. I spun her around and shoved the envelope into her chest.

"What the he-,"she paused as she looked inside. "OMFG!" she said as she hugged me tightly.

"How did you get these?" She asked scanning through the tickets.

"Mom."

"Lol, okay." She said. She looked at her watch. "We best get to class."

"Agreed." I said. "See you at lunch?"

"Yeah!" She said called as we walked are separate ways to are classes.

When I reached my biology class I took a seat and started writing what was on the board.

"This seat taken?" A male voice said from behind me. I spun around only to see another one of my friends.

"Dayton!" I said cheerfully.

"Been a while El!" He said.

"Yeah." I said blushing a little bit.

"So can I sit?"

"Um sure." I said patting the seat next to me.

"You free Saturday? We can go eat, Dani could come!"

"Well actually, I have to go to the doctor and get blood tests. Maybe another time, yeah?"

"Of course!" He said as his face dropped a bit. He looked a bit disappointed.
