One cold fall night on September thirteenth a girl around the age of five was sitting by the window of a small orphanage. Why is she here? For exactly five years ago her mother gave her up after one hour of birth. Now on her fifth birthday she is worrying about being rejected from another family. On the fifteenth of every month the orphanage has all the kids look nice and presentable. Celtic has been rejected every month. Year after year Celtic has sat by the window all alone. Celtic has long dirty blonde hair, faded blue eyes, pail white skin, plum chapped lips, and lightly rose colored cheeks. She doesn't eat much but is very fit. She wears only a ragged black dress that she makes every year just makes it a little bigger. There's a Ledge by the window that's where she spends all her time. She has a bed but refuse to sleep there only at the ledge. The kids of the orphanage don't bother talking with her. They never see her do anything but read and stare out the window. Celtic tries her best to stay clear of them as well so its fine with her. She hates being noticed. But as she is staring out this window on her birthday she whispers.
" Will anyone ever care or love me? "
As she says this a tear slips away and she falls asleep not knowing what is planned for her in her future.
