Hi again! See, told ya I would write this story. Even though I just created it.....and no one has read it......Moving on
Enjoy~

Beep beep beep beep beep crash

A digital clock flies to the wall, breaking into many pieces the poor thing is destroyed beyond repair. Now the person who flung the defenseless clock is none other than Mara Meredith Abner.

*****Maras POV******

I look towards the mint green covered wall, witness to my abuse of my now, disabled, alarm clock

"Damn" I mutter "This is the 30th one"

I get out of my bed, which involves getting tangled in the sheets and falling oh so gracefully to the floor. Karma I guess. I sigh

"This morning is just so fantastic" I mutter oh so sarcastically

After I untangle myself from my bed sheets, I pile it up on my bed, leaving it as a problem for me to fix when I get home. I stumble into my bathroom located a bit away from my closet. I strip and turn on the shower head and just let the water wake me up. I then lather my hair in rose scented shampoo and mango scented bodywash, all the while singing along to a song I had heard the day before. "Wanderers Lullaby" by Adriana Figueroa. My voice isn't nearly as exotic as Adrianas voice but I'm not exactly tone deaf either.

After showering I head into my closet, which just so happened to be a walk in closet, and picked out a slightly over sized hoodie and some light blue skinny jeans. I paired them with my black and white converse and let my hair air dry.

I walk downstairs greeted by the cheerful Cream color that coated my kitchen. My sister's and brother's were already seated and eating, my parents no where to be found.

"Morning" I say sitting next to
Maddie. Maddie just nods and continues to inhale-eat- her pancakes which were soaked with maple syrup. I shake my head

"Rest in peace pancakes" I bow my head in mock prayer

Maddie rolls her eyes and flips me the bird and I just grin. I grab a few, many, waffles and stack them on my plate putting some strawberry syrup on them. Brian, my younger brother, gasps "Mara you're still a strawberry syrup user?"

I salute "Guilty as charged"

My whole family used maple syrup on their waffles or pancakes and I enjoy strawberry syrup. They make such a big deal out of it, but no one has really commented on it lately since we usually have breakfast separately

"Where's mom" I ask covering my pancakes in whip cream

"Doctors" Madrid answers

"Dad?" I ask spreading strawberries on my pancakes

"Work" Keith, my other younger brother, answers

I nod and begin eating

Silence fills the house as we eat, no small talk. After all there's nothing to talk about, were all like strangers that happen to live with one another. That's how it's been for a long time.

I look around the kitchen, Keith was reading a book and finishing his last pancake. Brian was on his phone. Maddie was getting up to wash her plate and my other younger sister Kate was listening to music.

I was the oldest, at 17, with Brian following at 16, Maddie and Kate were twins and were  15. And Keith was 12. We all looked nothing alike except for our shared electric blue eyes. Sure we each had a few features that were the same but they weren't as recognizable as our eyes.

And so my younger siblings left the kitchen table, back to their rooms to get their things so that they could take the limousine  home. Yes we were a wealthy family but, and as cliche as it sounds, we were not a happy one. We were broken. But....it wasn't that bad. Was it?
