Glittering stars were scattered across the dark blanket that engulfed the land in one, huge shadow as the moon cast dark shadows among the silent forest, glowing brightly in its place in the night sky. Trees loomed from the ground as a gentle breeze buffeted the leaves of the tall, wooden pine trees. Bushes often quivered and quaked from the occasional critter or from the soft breeze, and grass was trampled or eaten by the occasional deer or so from time to time. The night air was cool, and the forest was illuminated by the stars and the moon. The forest was quite peaceful.
The beautiful flora and fauna of the forest stretched on and on, but at one side, the flora and fauna seemed to shrink and turn into dead grass and plain dirt as it faced a grey, rectangular facility that was enclosed by tall fences with barbed wires. There were stone watchtowers that rotated in a circular angle as they scanned the area with a bright, luminous light. There were two metal doors at the base of the building, and just a little above, there were big, visible letters engraved into the stone bricks:
"Gravity Falls Maximum Security Prison."
Despite the fact that it was nighttime, the prison was pretty dark already. It always was. Many criminals were sent there because of their wrongdoings, and many of their criminal records could specify any weird actions- after all, Gravity Falls was a weird town.
From within the prison, there were long corridors that led to many rooms, both big and small. Some hallways even led to other hallways, transporting whoever was roaming the prison. The rooms were often used as a place to rehabilitate the wayward jailbird, or just places to store items used to lock them in. There was a cafeteria, of course, where all of the wrongdoers could eat, chat, or even cause the occasional rumble. Then there were the prison cells.
The prison cells held many criminals, usually holding up to three- but of course, that depended if they were considered extremely dangerous, or if they caused very little harm. There was one prison cell, however, that held only one criminal. Formerly a town darling, he was now considered as a villain. Some could say that he was dangerous, or maybe just a liar. Who was he?
Why, it was Lil' Gideon Gleeful.
In the people's eyes, they prompt that the short, stout kid was cute- but he wasn't. Yes, he had his white pompadour hair, his freckles, and that baby face of his, but Gideon wasn't like any kid. He was spoiled and manipulative, as well as power-hungry. If anyone dared to say no to the kid, they would quickly regret their decision. However, no one knew those things. They saw him as an innocent ten-year-old who was part of a commercial on television. Gideon's cuteness got him places.
Lying down on the rough bed the prison cell offered him, Gideon arose from his place and glared at the walls of his prison cell, sitting on the edge of the mattress. His attire wasn't the best thing- but the color was horrible. Orange certainly wasn't his favorite color. Worst of all, the kid's pompadour hair was covered by a hair net, and it angered him to see his hair was meddled by the attire, both day and night.
Enough was enough.
It was time for Gideon to lash out at the Mystery Shack once more, so he can get his revenge and gain control of the place once and for all. But how? After being defeated during the election for mayor of Gravity Falls, Gideon had run out of plans. He'd done everything he could in his power to gain vengeance, from threatening the Pines family, to possessing his own father. Without his pendant or the journal, he was powerless.
Should he just give up? Never!
Before laying back down on his bed and returning to his slumber, an idea came to his mind. Looking at the poster with the kitten hanging off of the branch, Gideon knew that there was someone that could help. Someone who also weekend vengeance and power.
Leaping off of the rough bed, Gideon quickly walked towards the poster and removed it from the stone wall of his prison cell, and he found himself staring at a drawing that was sketched onto the wall. There it was, the key to success.
Gideon wasn't interested in the wheel with the peculiar symbols engraved in it. He was looking at the center of the wheel, where an iconic image was etched in that section.
That iconic image was known as Bill Cipher, the dream demon he'd met not too long ago- it was this summer when he encountered the triangle, in fact.
Gideon stared at the image in front of him, and began to chant the message in which he knew by memory. There was a bright blue flash in front of the kid, and the whole world was engulfed in a flash. Then, Gideon's surroundings became a shade of grey as a smaller blue light flashed before his eyes, and the outline of a triangle was seen. The blue light disappeared, and Gideon found himself staring at Bill Cipher.
Bill Cipher had been summoned once more.
"I'm ready to make a deal, Cipher." Gideon stated.
"So you want to make a deal with me? Wow, kid, you're really desperate, especially since you deliberately broke our deal when you wanted that deed to the Shack!" Bill Cipher exclaimed.
"That's not the point, Cipher! I want to make a deal, so I can get revenge on the Pines family and take over-"
"Yeesh, kid, you are one desperate mortal. But sure, it'd be nice to pay a visit and 'check in' on them, right? Anyways, what's your end if the deal? A deal isn't a deal without two ends!"
Gideon spoke again, "If you help me get my revenge on them fellers, I promise you I'll let you rule beside me as ruler of-"
Bill interrupted the kid's speech with a gleeful remark. "As ruler of the world?"
Gideon shook his head. "No, no. Ruler of Gravity Falls."
"Aw, kid, you really burst my bubble there, but being ruler of this ramshackle town does give me a head start."
Gideon went on with his speech. "So, I need you to set me free from this prison and aid me with my plan!"
"Pssh, sure. Here's my end of the deal: I'll set you free and help you in whatever plan you came up with if you get me some important things that I like to call 'keys to my success!' So, is it a deal or not?"
Gideon stuck out his hand towards Bill, determined to make a deal with the dream demon. This moment would mark the birth of a new sinister plan. He would finally get his revenge on the Pines family, and once he took over the Mystery Shack, he would get ultimate power, just like he'd suspected. Today was a new day- er, night.
"Deal."
