5 chosen OTPs:
Anirey/Jeremy (Ageless)
Jocelyn/Arya (Beginning Again)
Jonah/Joanne (Survivors)
Holly/Thomas (Survivors)
Kaal/Ember (Divided)1. Do you remember what scene/episode/chapter you started shipping #5?
Kaal and Ember's story is based off a roleplay two of my friends did together on Google+. I've been shipping them ever since that RP started, and the RP inspired the trilogy I'm writing2. Have you ever read fan fiction about #2?
Considering these are my characters from my original stories, no, I haven't. I think once Beginning Again gets published (if it ever does) then I might scroll through the Joella tags and read some of the fanfiction my readers are writing3. Has a picture of #4 ever been your background/Tumblr icon?
Nope. And unless someone draws me some Holly/Thomas fanart, it likely will not happen4. If #4 were to suddenly break up, what would your reaction be?
I would never break these two up, but I think if they did, I would expect my readers to be quite shocked. When you first meet Thomas, you find out right away that he and Holly used to be a thing but something happened that caused them to split up. They do get back together later in the story, and they are quite inseparable, so if they did break up again, it would be a bit anticlimactic and would come as a bit of a shock, both for characters and readers alike5. Why is #1 so important?
Man I did not plan this out very well. I'll end up writing out 6 pages worth of crap about my precious babies, Anirey and Jeremy. Ageless is a story inspired by my insane love for Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Ani and Jerry are respectively inspired by myself and Thomas. There is an eight year age gap between Ani and Jerry, to represent the nine year gap beween myself and Thomas. I have their entire relationship planned out in my head, from how they meet to their First Time to their wedding day. These two are important to me in ways I simply cannot put into words6. Is #4 a funny or serious ship?
Serious. Definitely. Holly and Thomas start out as a bit of a funny ship, since when Thomas comes into the story, you meet him as Holly's ex-boyfriend. Although, it can be funny at times. The sass between these two is absolutely unbelievable, especially before they get back together7. Out of all the ships, which ones have the most chemistry?
Probably JoJo. Jonah and Joanne have such a past that nothing could possibly split them up (except, you know, the fucking plot of the story)8. Out of all the ships, which have the strongest bond?
Hmm...I think that Anirey and Jeremy do. It takes a while for Jerry to grow to love Anirey as much as she loves him, but once he does, he won't let her go. Their love stretches not only across an eight year age gap, but also across reality, since he is a British actor and she is an American high schooler9. How many times have you read/watched #2's fandom?
I've been writing Beginning Again ever since freshman year, so this story has been growing and developing for about two years now. It too is based on a RP two of my friends did, and I often go back and read it to figure out characterization and get ideas for each of the three books that will be written10. Which ship lasted the longest in canon?
All five ships are canon in their respective stories. I haven't quite planned out the romantic arcs of each ship yet or how it falls timewise with the story, but since Jocelyn and Arya are canon for two and a half books, I'll go with them11. How many times, if ever, have #5 broken up?
Haven't planned that out yet. I don't know if I want them to 'break up' exactly, but I know Kaal does something really fucking stupid at one point that seriously threatens his relationship with Ember12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive?
Ageless: Jeremy is an actor and his most recent movie was a post-apocalyptic world, so he might make it pretty far before getting his brain eaten by zombies. Anirey would probably try and find a horse to make a quick getaway, but wouldn't know how to fight the zombies off. So they're both dead
Beginning Again: Considering Arya is pregnant throughout the entirety of book one and most of book three, she'd probably die fairly quickly. Jocelyn knows karate, so she might last at least a few days before dying. Both dead
Divided: Kaal and Ember live in a world torn apart by war. They know how to defend themselves against wild dragons and insane people. They'd burn the zombies alive. They'd totally live
Survivors: Both ships would survive. That world basically is a zombie apocalypse, or some variant of it. Haven't quite finished the world planning yet. The boys in both ships almost die in a couple spots, but I think both ships would survive13. Did #4 have to hide their relationship for any reason?
Yes. Holly is the leader of a literally underground organization that defends against the zombies, and while she was dating Thomas the first time, she didn't want the other members of the organization to think she was playing favorites or getting distracted from her duties14. Is #5 still together?
As far as I've planned, nothing happens that would break Kaal and Ember up. They are canon by the time the trilogy ends, and I think they also have a couple kids15. Is #1 canon?
Yes. By about the middle of the book, Anirey and Jeremy officially become a couple, at least between the two of them. They try to hide their relationship from the media so Jeremy doesn't get in trouble for fraternizing with a minor16. If all ships were put into a couple's Hunger Games, which would win?
This is very similar to Question 12 with the zombie apocalypse. Jocelyn/Arya and Jeremy/Anirey would probably die in the Bloodbath. Kaal and Ember live in a war-ravaged world. Ember likes to shoot first and ask questions never, and Kaal could strangle a full grown man if he wanted to. They'd probably make good Careers. Holly/Thomas and Joanne/Jonah live in a world ravaged by zombies (or something similar) so they at least know how to fight. If it came down to it, though, none of them except Holly would kill a person, and if Thomas died, Holly would die with him. So I think the ultimate winners would be Kaal and Ember17. Has anyone tried to sabotage #5's relationship?
Yes. Kaal and Ember face many obstacles on their way to CanonLand. At one point, Ember's supposedly-dead father comes back, and let's just say it's not a happy family reunion18. Which ships would you defend to death and beyond?
All of them!19. Have you ever spent hours scrolling through #3's tumblr?
None of them have a tumblr, since they only exist on my Google drive, but if I had time after the stories were published, I'd totally be that author with a fake fan account that trolls my fans with facts about upcoming books that eventually turn out to be true. I'd be that Stalker Author20. If you had to pick one ship to break up forever, which one would you choose?
Oh god. Oh fucking hell. Don't do this to me. I can't do this. MY CHILDREN!!! Definitely NOT Jeremy/Anirey. Or Joanne/Jonah. Kaal and Ember are too perfect for each other. Jocelyn and Arya have too much chemistry. I guess that leaves Holly and Thomas. If Thomas were to die in their canon universe, Holly would be crushed, but she is the type of person who allows herself just enough time to grieve before getting back to the important stuff. His death would stick in the back of her head forever, but she'd move on in time
