Plan B

Before we headed to bed we all decided to block all the entrances. Even with the blockades we made I don't think it would take much to break your way in. With that thought I got really worried and decided to keep watch while everyone went to sleep. Sara tried getting me to sleep but I really didn't want to risk their safety just so I could catch some Z's. I pulled up a chair and a small desk that had a lamp on it. I got a knife from the kitchen and placed it on top of the desk. After about an hour of silence I was dosing off. I tried to think of a way to keep me awake. I looked around and couldn't find anything. I walked into the kitchen and found some coffee. I made a full pot of coffee and poured myself a glass. To be honest I hate black coffee so I looked for some sort of flavoring. I found some creamer in the fridge but it was practically empty. I poured what I could into the glass but it still tasted pretty bad. I pulled out the milk and some sugar and made some homemade creamer. It made the coffee allot better. I walked back to the living room and sat back down. Even with the coffee I was exhausted its almost as if the coffee had the opposite affect it should've had. I ended up passing out and waking up to Sara laughing at me saying "I knew you couldn't last all night" I said it back in a mocking tone and laughed. I glanced over at the clock and it said 10:47. That leaves about 6 days and 5 hours. We still got quite a bit of time left, but we shouldn't waste any of it. I sat down with Sara and we talked about the best course of action. The closest Extraction point was in Florence,Oregon. From where we were it was almost a 500 mile drive. In my car that would take about 10 hours. That's if we could go at a constant 50mph. The odds of that are slim to none. I couldve sworn we sat at that table forever. Even though it was a solid 20 minutes. Most of the time we were silent. Just thinking. Even after all the thinking our only option was to drive. We talked about trying to get a plane or something of the sort but since none of us have even a slightest clue on how to operate an aircraft we voted against that plan. Oh my god! Sara looked up at me as if I was crazy since less than 5 minutes ago I seemed fine and serious now I'm terrified and worried. I forgot about my house! I need to check on my parents. After hearing me say this she had the same reaction I did. We both hurried and took down the barricade and ran out the door. I fell right on my face as I tripped right over a duffelbag that was left right on her front porch. I didn't know why it was there or where it came from but at that moment it didn't matter to me or Sara. We sprinted across the field to my fence that led to my backyard and jumped it. I opened the sliding glass door and ran inside. I checked every room in the house. I even checked the Attic. Not a single person was there. Except me and Sara. I went back to the living room where I found a note on a little desk in the middle of the room. I picked it up and read it.

"Nate I know if anyone is going to read this it will be you. I'm sorry for just up and leaving without you. We tried coming to get you but no one would answer Sara's Door. We were going to wait for you but we had no time. We met some people the day you left and they offered a ride Too Florence ,Oregon. We headed to an airport North of here. Turns out they have connections which gives them access to an aircraft. We aren't leaving for a couple days and will be taking shelter in the plane when we get there. If you can, head up there."
We love you

P.S. We left a duffelbag bag with some supplies at Sara's Door step.
at this point you probably knew that.

I looked at Sara and Said
"Change of Plans."
