SWISH! LAKERS WIN!

How many times have we seen that sequence of moves, performed to perfection?

Kobe sure is a one of the best to play the game. No argument there. And after winning 5 NBA Championships, 2 NBA Finals MVP Awards, an NBA MVP Award, an NBA Slam Dunk Contest Championship, 2 Olympic Gold Medals, a million other accomplishments, and 20 years of his life to the NBA (Note, he's 37 and got drafted to the NBA straight from high school at the tender age of 18.), it's time for him to finally say goodbye and fadeaway from this chapter of his life.

Tonight the 20 year Laker basketball player, Kobe, played his last NBA game and it was the perfect way to end his career. The Lakers played the Utah Jazz, and Kobe brought home the 'W' in a spectacular fashion.

He and the Lakers came back from about a 20 point deficit to win the game 101-96 and guess what.

KOBE SCORED 60 POINTS!

Yes, Kobe Bryant scored 60 points tonight at his last NBA game. But is that a surprise? This man knows how to play! He has recorded 25 games where he scored 50+ points, 6 games scoring 60+ points ( including this one), and a game where he scored 80+ points. Unbelievable. The Black Mamba knows how to make an exit! He can now also add "Highest Scoring Last Career Game of a Player" to his resume.

( Oh, another huge accomplishment earned tonight: Kobe's performance got Kanye West to smile! I thought that was only a myth, never did I think it was possible.)

This will be a memorable game which will go down in history.

It was great cheering him on watching his greatness since I was a child. I was never the biggest Laker fan ( I'm from Toronto and Kobe scored 81 on us...EIGHTY- ONE...at least Toronto will always be a part of NBA history), but it's Kobe. You gotta love him! So I'd like to thank him for entertaining all us and blessing all of us with a legendary career.
