This is one of the things I'm struggling with; having thoughts like 'Am I truly saved?', 'Do I truly believe?', 'Have I done the Lord's laws and will??'.
I panic when I think these things. They usually come with anxiety and fear. I've been hurt by these thoughts.
Now some of you may have doubts as well. It may vary to each individual and we may or may not be affected. It could be like, 'Does God truly exist?' or something like that. It's pretty normal. We're human, we doubt. I always think that I should repent and pray again for salvation.
Are some of you like that?
When I feel like that I go search about people who doubt, go to a trusted friend or family member, or remember my dad's story. In his story, a man who had a great illness went to a doctor who could cure it. The man asked the doctor to help cure his illness and he (the doctor) agreed. The next day, the same man asked the same question again and again and so on. I laughed at this and thought about it. The man with the illness is us sinners and the doctor is Jesus. I thought about how silly I was, but was and is still weary about my doubts.
Actually, I want to thank my doubts as well. It helped me to truly become a Christian. Doubts also help us all to seek the Lord.
When we doubt, let us remember to pray to God about it. Continue to read His Word, the Bible. If you ever doubt, remember these verses:
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Romans 10:13
"Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."I'll add more in the future. Memorize these verses and have a nice day. ❤️
