I placed you on a pedestal,
But now I tear you down.
The more you mock and ridicule
The more you make me frown.
Each time you make me skeptical,
When you deny my crown.
ou steal away my confidence
As if it's all your own.
To cultivate your prominence
You're killing what I've grown.
As culminated consequence
I kick you of my throne.
The palace you have fortified
Is only surface deep.
Your castle has been glorified,
While you've been building cheap,
Since mine had to be sacrificed.
I ban you from my keep.
You damage my stability
Each time you overwhelm,
Distorting my reality.
I now retake the helm.
I can't regain tranquility
With you still in my realm.
As queen to my accomplishments
You took me for a fool.
To you they're merely accidents,
But it betrays your school.
I now erect new monuments,
Reclaiming my own rule.
