I woke up to the sound of whispering all around me.
"Should we wake her up?"
"Let's jump on her!"
"Oh my gosh we should draw on her and put honey in her hair"
The last one made me sit up with wide eyes. I looked around and saw about 8 children standing around my bed. After a few minutes I realised they were just a few of my friends in the orphanage.
"Wassup guys?!" I exclaimed in a good but tired mood.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYY!!" They shouted and all the little kids started jumping on my bed while the others giggled. I laughed and thanked them before they all left the room so I could change. I had a shower last night so I didn't need to do that now. I changed into black leggings with stars at the bottom of them that I got a couple years ago with a white tank top and a grey jumper with crosses on in the shape of a heart. To be honest all these clothes were getting old but it didn't bother me. I put on one dark pink sock with white hearts on my left foot and on my right foot a white sock with dark pink hearts on.
I put on some concealer, bronzer, mascara, blush and lipstick. What can I say, I like my makeup. I then took my hair out of it's plaits and my hair came out wavy. I grinned and pinned a couple bits of hair back so it looked neater. Then I got out a couple bracelets and a simple Superwoman necklace I made myself. I nodded at myself in the mirror, proud of how I looked and turned to walk out the door.
Happy 14th birthday, Madison. I thought to myself as I closed my door. I hope this one turns out right...
