I owe my life to Lord Jarin, for without him, I would not be alive to tell you my tale. Let me introduce myself, I am Lady Seraphina Victoria. My birthdate, unknown. I was left on the doorstep of Asher's Ale House. An alehouse so filthy and full of many drunkards. It was not the most proper place for a baby to be left, I much would have preferred a church. Needless to say, that is where I was left and that was where I grew up.

Until the age of 3, I was known only as 'Baby Girl'. It wasn't until Dimia, the barmaid put her foot down and told them that I needed a proper name. And even then, the gentlemen that frequented the alehouse could only come up with the names of alcohol. In the end, it was Dimia that named me Seraphina Victoria. For that I am grateful, it is much better than being called Mead.

As soon as I was able to speak, they had me serving ale. I would be knocked over, spilled on, and even came close to being hit by a drunkard because he did not like the way I looked at him. By the age of 15, Asher was in trouble for not paying taxes and the Lord threatened to close the alehouse. Asher sold the only thing he could afford to lose, me. Of course he didn't sell me to a nice family, he sold me to the highest bidder. His name was Barda and he was the drunkest, meanest man you have ever laid eyes on. He was well known in the town for roughing up the girls in the brothel.

So that is where I shall start my story, my first day at Barda's.
