Hi! Welcome to the second "Your Very Own Adventure" story!
So, you're interested in this story, but you're a little confused by it? You're not the only one... and I write the damned things!
The "Your Very Own Adventure" books are novels or novellas written "democratically" for the express purpose of raising funds for charity (we sell the books once they're all written and edited).
But what is a "democratically written" novel?
Well, it's quite simple. Each week I write out a section of story, and then give you, dear readers, three options to chose from as the next action. You vote for the action of your choice in the comments, and the action with the most votes is the action that starts off the next little section of story. The action could be anything - a plan, a direction, a fork in the road - anything at all.
The characters in this story will live or die by the democratic decisions of this readership.
