I heard a door slam throughout the dorm

Yoongi-hyung told me to ignore it as he ate his cereal but I was worried.....the slam came from our room...

"Hyung, I'm gonna go check up on Jungkook"

I placed my cereal on the coffee table and stood up but he grabbed my wrist before I left

"Jiminnie, even after what he has done to you, you still care for him?" Yoongi said, holding my wrist gently

I sighed and replied

"He is still a group member hyung and we should take care of each other"

Even if they're the ones that hurt us

I felt him let go and I walked towards our room

As I got closer, I heard sniffling from behind the door and this made me more worried than before...

I gently knocked on the door but I got no reply, the sniffling did stop but he wasn't answering....

I opened my mouth, about to call out his name but closed it again....I'm not sure if I can still call him how I use to call him...

I bit my lip and decided to just stick with his name

"Jungkook-ah?"

No reply

"Jungkook-shi?"

No reply again

"Jungkook?"

My worry grows so I gave it a shot

"....Kookie?"

Silence....

I sighed and turned to walk away but I hear the door opening...I stopped in my tracks...

"Hyung?"

His croaky voice echoed through my ears as I slowly turn to look at him...

And there he stood, hiding behind the door, his head peeking out.....tear tracks on his face and his eyes wide like a puppy

It all went so quickly

Him fully opening the door and walking towards me at a fast pace...

And....

Embracing me in his arms...

His head on my shoulder...and the whimpering sounds that were muffled....

I stood, rigid but I slowly moved up one arm and hugged his waist...and the other, I placed my hand on top of his head....

No words were exchanged....

It was just him crying on my shoulder and me comforting him....
