Chapter 1- I'm Back

*Alice POV*

I woke up with the sun in my eyes as light penetrated through my window. I groaned and pulled the cover up and tried to convince myself that I didn't need to get up. As I shifted I realized where I was. I was in the empty bedroom of my new apartment. I roll off of my futon to see what time it was. My eyes went wide with panic as I realise I'm going to be late for my first day of school. I rush to throw my new uniform on. It was a yellow dress with a white collar and white cuffed sleeves. I struggle to put my white tights on as I try to check the time, 7:50! I rush out the door putting my shoes on and start to take off running. I stop after I reach the top of the hill. I look back at my apartment building. I felt like I was forgetting something something. Oh well, it can't be important since I can't remember. I ran, checking the time over and over untill the school was in sight. I checked my watch one last time, 1 minute left.

I pushed myself as hard as I could to speed up. The bell rang just as I squeezed through the gates. I would of fell to the ground weezing, but seeing the school so close made it even harder to breath, it was huge!

I walk down the halls behind my homeroom teacher. It was amazing, the halls were so wide and had so many windows compared to the schools in America. I continued to look around in amazement until the teacher coughed. I froze and remained my composure. I follow behind as the teacher enters the room. The teacher gives the class basic information about me and asked me to introduce myself. I take a deep breath and put on my best (fake) smile, "Its a pleasure to meet you all. I'm Katou Alice, I'll be in your care." I slightly bowed to the rest of the class. "You may take the empty seat next to Miss Haninozuka." I walk to the back of the room, taking the only empty seat by a window. I sit in my seat and glance over at the girl sitting next to me. She had short blonde hair and brown eyes. She was quite cute, she seemed familiar but I couldn't place my finger on where I had seen her before. I looked over and gave a small wave. She gave me an ominous smirk, "welcome back, A-Chan." I was frantic, did she know me? Then it hit me, "Squeak, is that you?"
