Where The Truth Lies

1- Anticipation

Date September 8 1936
Aria's POV
  Today's the day. That day I meet my new family. My father has told me that they are very kind and that I will like them very much, but something doesn't feel right. The pictures my dad has shown me of them almost makes me feel as thought I have seen them before, or that they have been in my life this whole time and I'm just realizing it now. Oh well I guess I'll never really understand till I meet them. My father has been preparing the house for when they get here for months, he is so excited. We are waiting at the front door to see their car as it comes down the driveway to their new home and new family.
All I can see is dirt and pavement. My father now sitting next to me is just talking away a storm, he must be nervous.
" Dad?"
" Yes darling"
" I was wondering... the last time you saw them did they seem excited to meet me and live here?"
Our house was like a mansion to us but to others it was just a house. It had been just the two of us living here for so long that it just seemed to big. Now we are going to have three extra people living here, so now it won't seem so empty.
"Of course they did. Why would you think otherwise"
"I don't know. I guess it's because they never really made an effort to get to know me before moving in"
" Honey I can promise you it's not like that. These boys are just shy and only keep to each other."
Right as he finishes his sentence we hear a load and obnoxious noise coming from our hilly driveway.
" I that them father?"
"Indeed it is"
I begin to jump up and down with excitement. I am finally going to meet the people my father never stops talking about.
