Dark Woods Circus
I'm sure you've heard of the dark wood circus. Well, at least a few of you anyway. It's a show of freaks. I'm sure you think they enjoy it or they were born that way. The green singer with goat legs was born with no legs and she got different legs. The person with the two heads was born that way. The boy with the midnight blue hair just ran away from home. I bet you haven't given them a second thought either. About the pain they suffer through at night and how much they want to die. You haven't smelt the stench of rotting flesh.
But I know, and I'm going to tell you.
For starters, they didn't join, they were kidnapped and forced. No one heard their screams of pain or saw their desperate pleas to get free.

You see that girl? The one with the goat legs? That's Miku. She was stolen from a rich family and her legs were chopped off and replaced. She's a beautiful singer but she wears a blind fold so she doesn't see the audience reactions to her deformity.
What about the person with the 2 heads? They were twins. Rin and Len Kagamine. They were separated at birth because of their parents' death. They were adopted separately and became Rin Haku and Len Megurine. They were reunited in high school and were basically inseparable until they were stolen, just like Miku. They became literally inseparable as they became one human body.
And the blue haired one? That's Kaito. He was an orphan living on the streets but a few days after he found a home, he was stolen. He was injected with a liquid that made him crave human flesh. He loved it, and that's all he would eat.
Why don't they run away? They want a quick death but if they misbehave, they get acid poured on them which is a bad enough pain in itself but then it starts rotting them, over time. Even long after the acid has washed off.
You might ask how I know this... Well, I am the ringmaster. I stole each kid and deformed them. There were once more but they either died during the deforming or killed themselves afterward.
And you know what? You might be next. What should I do with you? What about chopping of your arms and replacing it with something else? No? What about a liquid that replaces your eyes with ice? No? Really? Are you sure? When I tell other people about their other options, they prefer those ones. Oh, come now, it doesn't hurt as much if you co-operate. Just sit still and don't scream.
