"So have you spoken to Jason yet ?" Tate asks
"Well I've texted him but as far as I know until Amber leaves he's not coming into my house " I say walking through the forest to the tree house with Tate
" can we talk about something else please " I say
"Yeah sure ...look there it is "Tate said pointing up the tree

We climb up and sit down then I notice the hole in the roof . I start laughing .
" why the hole in the roof ?" I ask laughing
"I wanted a sky light plus you get a good view of the stars " Tate says

I lie back into the carpet and look up at the starts . Tate comes over and lies next to me and we both take in the view as there's not a cloud in the sky it's beautiful.

"I love seeing things like this that can't be fucked up by humans that are so close yet so far away " Tate says
" I never knew you were deep Tate " I say laughing
" yeah but like doesn't it make you feel small and distant looking at stars " Tate asks
" sometimes " I say
" so Tate tell me something " I says
"Like what " he asks
"Something that no one else knows tell me something that means something " I say
" when Jason and I were 8 my dad became a alcoholic and started abusing us I was to young to realise he full extent of what was going on my mum was so damaged she needed therapy for years I still think she struggles . The only one that didn't get beaten was Jason he was my dad favourite Jason doesn't understand what it was like " Tate says
I'm shocked I didn't expect him to come out with something like this .

"Tate I'm so sorry I didn't know " I say taking his hand
"I guess you now know why I'm a dick I'm damaged too" he says
" if it helps I'm not exactly normal either I just see stuff differently " I say
"So do I like I don't mean to be a ass I just am " he says laughing we sit in silence for a minute just looking the sky
" I have never told anyone that not even Amber " Tate says
" I won't tell anyone " I say back
" so or lighten the mood I have a bottle of vodka I also have Coke so do you want a drink " Tate asks
" yeah sure " I say he pours the vodka and Coke together in a cup and hands me it he gets a drink to .

As the night goes on we play drinking games and stupid stuff like that getting to know each other even better . By this point I was quiet drunk so was he .

" I'm just going to chill cause I think you drunk and you don't deserve my attention " I say mumbling
" your one to talk about being drunk Ava " he says laughing

I check the time and it's 3:48 in the morning
"Dude the time " I say laughing
" it's fine " he says back
I lie back on the floor with Tate looking at the stars again .

" I love you ava you make me feel like I'm a person and that I'm a good person . Your so beautiful , your the most beautiful girl in the whole world your my dream . Someone's like you make me feel like I belong somewhere you make me feel better " Tate says
" I love you too " I say before I knew it I was hugging into Tate .

I wake up almost frozen . It's so cold it's early . I check my phone and it's 7:30 . I nudge Tate and he wakes up .

"Good morning to you too princess I'll walk you home " Tate says

We pack up our things at climb out the tree house and start walking home
